Ok, this place has beautiful online pictures. We booked online and arrived an hour after check in which is 11am. Super nice perk since most RV sites are 1 pm. The office was closed because it was lunch time. No one was there to greet us not even at the registration cubby. There was a sign with site numbers that took us to our site. We knew this place had residents who live there but they assigned us sandwiched in between two residents which was really awkward. However we parked and our neighbor was the one who greeted us and asked most of the questions about what we needed help with and gave us instructions on how we should set up. The site was not cleaned for our stay and across from us there were several available RV sites with no neighbors to the sides that could have been a better option. (Turns out the neighbor Burt and Cindy were amazing ppl that we eventually warmed up to and helped our stay be very enjoyable after all.) After setting up we visited the office to formally check in and request a map. We were not buzzed in and a employee skittishly cracked the door open asking us what we needed by sticking her head through the cracked door, never welcomed us and was very uninviting. We requested a map that we found on a marketing shelf on the porch. We later discovered on Sunday (2days later into our 4 day weekend) that a "welcome package" was pinned to a bulletin board somewhere outside of the office. What?! It held important info such as amenities rules and pool bracelets. It was the worst communication ever. Very bad first impression. Children were only allowed in the pool certain hours a day and a dog park was on the other side of the campground which made no sense at all. Trash was not picked up and it is most definitely not a family friendly park at all. It had a nice lake to see and an indoor pool, hot tub, and a sauna. But nothing was inviting. We spent our days in the RV and chatting with our friendly couple neighbors. We don't think we will be coming back unfortunately.

Horrible, dirty park. I'm certain that the ratings in this park are generated by the year-round/full time renters. I read the reviews before booking this site and it was clear that the entrance was a bit tight and also to let the front office know if you have a big rig as the sites could be challenging, which I did. Upon arrival, we noted the beautiful massive amount of trees but those only added to the feeling of claustrophobia. Our 42' coach was assigned to the very back of the park crowded in like sardines with our neighbors. Some say this camp is rustic-a polite word for a dump. The paved roads are so torn up it is as though you are driving on gravel. The lot we were directed to also had a paved pad that had disintegrated. We were less than a foot from a large tree and amongst many other trees which provided us with plenty of multi-legged visitors. This was not a surprise but not things I wish to have in my coach. I read that others who had negative experiences had at least enjoyed their neighbors. In our case we had our door knocked on twice in 2 days. One time was when we pulled in and left the truck running briefly so we could keep our animals safe until we opened up the coach. The second time was the next day as my husband had parked the truck on our assigned lot; however, this is where the people next to us would play corn hole and the truck was impeding on their game. He obligingly moved only to notice they never brought out the corn hole. If you care about your property (coach, etc) I would stay clear of this horribly maintained location. We are leaving 2 days ahead of our scheduled week, as the energy here is far worse than we have ever experienced.

Decent park. Lots are very tight, & we did not have a picnic table, though our friends in another spot did. There are a ton of long term, seasonal, older couples in this park. We are a fulltime family, so we worried about the kid-friendliness after reading the reviews. We chose to stay since it is a Thousand Trails park, & it would only be one week. It was good for one week. No playground, the outdoor pool has very limited hours for children & is very far away in the farms part of the park, & the majority of the older people here are just not super friendly. They aren’t rude - they just kinda ignore you. We are used to people waving, smiling, chatting, etc.; we would wave, & maybe 25% of them would wave back. The park itself is making changes to be more kid friendly. They have changed the indoor pool hours to allow children all day, even though the doors still cite very limited hours in huge blue print. Overall, fine for a short stay.

We were really looking forward to this park because of the indoor pool and hot tub. Unfortunately, things did not go as planned.||We made our reservation quite some time ago for a two week stay. During the reservation workflow we entered the information for our RV--it is a 35' Class A with an SUV in tow. Nothing unusual.||When we got to the park we were placed in a hilariously small spot--by small I mean the rear bumper of our RV was maybe 12 inches away from the rv behind us, and the front bumber was even with the street. There was no room to put our our awning and no place to park our car.We ended up driving our car partially onto the broken concrete patio on the passenger side of our RV out of necessity.||Immediately after parking (early on a saturday afternoon) we immediately called the office to let them know we were put into a site too small for us but no one answered. ||We finally found a maintenance person that said there was nothing he could do for us because we were "Thousand Trails members" and only allowed to use certain sites. Fine--but don't rent me a site that's too small to use.||That's the extent of our contact with management. Zero help. Zero explanation as to why, even though we purchased a membership that included this park, we couldn't be helped.||We made the best of it--the neighbors had a good laugh at our expense, commenting they can't believe we were put in a spot that small. Having to use half of the patio to park really put a damper on activities.||We didn't in any way feel welcome at this park by management. No help, no follow up contact. ||We've stayed out quite a few other Encore resorts in Florida that were great, but this place...
