Needed an extended stay place for work. I remembered seeing this cute little roadside motel not far from Brookville and close enough to commute to Cincinnati. (35-45 minutes out) I am extremely pleased with the room I'm getting for the price I'm paying. This is an inexpensive option, so I did not expect much. Imagine my surprise to find a spotless room with a mini-fridge, microwave, and an up to date TV (with working channels!). The heat and ac have both been necessary (it's Nov in the Midwest! ;) ) and both parts of the unit work equally well. No bugs. Clean. And the bed is soooo comfy!! The linens are a bit worn, but they are clean and smell nice. The owners are cheerful, friendly professionals who genuinely care about the place, and it shows. They regularly tour the property to ensure safety and comfort for their guests. There are several extended stay rooms, and the occupants are all just regular people. None of that scary nonsense at this economy motel. The owners simply wouldn't stand for it. As i stated earlier, they are very pro-active about safety and comfort. I would absolutely, without hesitation, recommend this motel to women traveling alone, and to parents of young children (big grassy area in front had kids playing tag earlier today). Extended stay does not have daily housekeeping at this rate. Don't be silly. That's why it's cheaper. My room was spotless when I arrived. Fully cleaned between patrons. The reason I only gave the mounds a one star review for their hotel rooms is because I didn't have a place to put a zero . If you are only there temporarily like a day or so stay in the newer building it is nicer and bigger than the old building . If I am sounding harsh it's because Im a little bitter i stayed there for over two years and the owner kept raising rent on us , my wife and I did a lot of up keep on our room even added a kitchen nook in the room , did all the floors , painted the room new bath fixtures all this came out of our pockets , don't get me wrong I like the owners very much they're good people. It wasn't like we were made to do the work to our room we did it because we like to do it . The location of the motel is perfect if going to do your recreational activities at Brookville lake , there is all kinds of fun things to do swimming , camping , horseback riding , hiking , there is a rental store where you can rent fishing boats , speed boats , pontoons , seadoos , to much to list and the prices for stuff is fairly reasonable be safe and have...

I love it here me and my boyfriend has been here over a year and they are so sweet so nice and most of the people around here say that they're going to pay their rent the next day or a couple of days and they don't they go weeks and the management allows it that's how good these people are but that's not happening anymore not while I'm here I'm a good-hearted woman and I'm not going to allow people to run over them and yes it's hard for them to speak English very well get a translator app it's the best it's the way I communicate with him and his wife recently his wife went on to her country for vacation or to visit family and she brought back me a dress it made me cry it so beautiful Danny if you're in your wife ever need help let me know I'm here for you guys.
