A beautiful accommodation stay with stunning views and real Montana hospitality by superhosts Leslie and Carl. I am renaming this place the “Ritz Carlton of Montana”. It is very luxurious stay with high end amenities, very comfortable couchs (there are many), both indoor and outdoor. My favourite place in the entire house was the gorgeous fireplace - it’s an instant gas fireplace - and the best place for early sunrise meditation and yoga. Everything is fully stocked and in working condition. There are lovely walks on the property. Only 10 mins from the property, via the old 1890 wagon trail, I saw a moose at the pond. The evenings are stunning and the night sky is expansive star scape. I highly recommend staying at Lone Elk Lodge. Daily trips into Glacier Nat Park (GNP) are a must . It’s a 15 min drive to Two Medicine - don’t miss that ! St Mary’s and the entrance to GNP is around 35 drives to all parts of the part were easy to access....

Cook a nice homemade meal and get away from the crowds in the village. The beds were clean and very comfortable. The bathrooms are clean and somehow we never had to worry about running out of hot water for showers or dishes. My son and I flew in to Missoula and didn't have to think about packing bags full of sleeping, cleaning, and cooking gear. Thank you Carl and Leslie for such a pleasant experience! We hope to return...

The Two Medicine Suite at the Lone Elk Lodge is a jewel of a find. It is a beautiful property. We loved the decor and comfy feel of the room. It was the perfect refuge every evening after exploring the park. We appreciate the attention to detail and consideration of the little things like coffee and fresh scones for our first day, bedside electrical extensions, excellent WiFi ( uploaded our photos to the cloud for safe keeping). The guest information book and hiking guides were very useful. we had access to their washer and dryer! Only regret - we didn’t get to try the home baked pie. We had a great stay and we’ll be back!
