The drive up to Whispering Pines was absolutely beautiful, and as soon as we arrived the charm kicked in. We were greeted by a staggered row of Covered wagons nestled among the trees-like something straight out of a Lauara Ingalls book. I made a quick stop at the bathhouse and noticed some guests had left their personal items behind-maybe they were the only ones there overnight and felt comfortable doing so. That's the kind of vibe here; trusting , peaceful and low key. I even walked back again before we headed to Bryce, still thinking wow, they coudl at least be considerate . Only later_ after the Bryce trip and after flipping through the guest book - did we realize that each wagon has it's own private bathhouse with a key. So I inintentionally strolled into someone else's bathroom judging them, while they watched do it .. and never said a word. They were so gracious about it, and once we stopped laughing, I appreciated that grace even more. It's that kind of peaceful place, good hearted and full of surprises. Our wagon was totally authentic , yet clean, cozy and thoughtfully stocked with the essentials. It had a mini fridge, microwave, heat bearing amish- type fireplace, comfy- heated beds, and a private firepit, BBQ with shelter and a nice full size trashcan with liner-that smelled clean. One of my favorite touches was the self serve firewood on the honor system. When I went to the Trading Post to pay-I opened the door and oh my gosh, this magical twinkling light store full of cute merch, and other sweet touches all beautifullun arranged. Just like the firewood, everything there was honor basewd too. The entire place was immaculate. The bathrooms- once I found the right one was spotless ans smelled amazing. The kind of clean you see at a five star hotel. The heater is a blessing as well. The nights in mid-April dropped to 30 degrees. But that heater was such a treat. Warm seat and all. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a peaceful place and memorable getaway. There are quite a few other treasures there as well but you gotta stay thwere...

We stayed for 2 nights, between our trips to Bryce and Zion. A nice quiet secluded location between the two parks. This was our first āglampingā experience and werenāt quite sure what to expect, despite reading all the reviews. (The 5* reviews were spot on). Private lockable bathrooms allowed us to leave our toiletries and towels in the bathroom. Being able to do our laundry after our hot and dusty hikes was so nice - and no need to worry about laundry supplies - all was available and included in the more than reasonable fee. Units were large capacity LG front loaders that are kept in great condition (no funky smells in the front loader washer). LOTS of outlets (kids were worried about limited outlets to charge all their devices). Heating pads kept the beds warm, while in wagon heater/AC, allowed us to keep the indoor temp as we wanted. Microwave, coffee maker, and small refrigerator (with separate freezer compartment - we were able to freeze water bottles to use as ice packs for our park visits). There were many other amenities - grill (along with supplies and tools necessary to grill meals), pots/pans to borrow for use, trails, hatchet throws and many more - that we were unable to take advantage of because we were busy at the parks and returned late each night and departed early each morning. Rob and Christy were super responsive, but unfortunately we didnāt have the pleasure to meet them in person. Would definitely return if we are ever in the area. (Cell signal (T-Mobile/Verizon) was non-existent for us, except on the iPad, and there was no WiFi in wagon, but hosts generously welcomed visitors to use theirs, by...
