Nestled in the serene hills near Bryson City, North Carolina, the Papa Bear Cabin offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comforts. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views and the peaceful ambiance that surrounds this lovely two-bedroom retreat.

The cabin itself is beautifully designed, featuring an open floor plan that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The living area, with its cozy fireplace, was the perfect spot for to unwind after a day of exploring the Great Smoky Mountains.

Both bedrooms are tastefully decorated and provide ample space, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The beds are incredibly comfortable, making it hard to leave the cozy haven each morning! The cabin also boasts a fully equipped kitchen, which made meal prep a breeze, and dining with a view was a highlight of our stay.

One of our favorite features was the outdoor deck, where we spent evenings stargazing and listening to the sounds of nature. The hot tub provided the perfect way to unwind after a day of hiking and exploring the nearby attractions, including the charming town of Bryson City and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

The location is ideal for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We found plenty of hiking trails, scenic drives, and harming towns to explore. The host was incredibly responsive and provided fantastic recommendations for local dining and activities.

Our stay at the Poppa Bear cabin was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality that made us feel right at home. The cabin itself is beautifully appointed, with stunning views that take your breath away.

One of the highlights of our stay was the hot tub, where we spent many evenings soaking under the stars while enjoying the peaceful sounds of nature. The kids absolutely loved the park on the property, which provided them with a safe and fun place to play while we relaxed.

The hosts went above and beyond, providing us with a wealth of local recommendations that truly enhanced our experience. We discovered fantastic restaurants, charming shops, and some amazing breweries, all just a short drive away. Every suggestion was spot on, ensuring that our days were filled with adventure and delicious meals.

My family and I had a wonderful stay and experience at Sky Bear Lodge at the Three Little Bears Retreat in Bryson City, North Carolina last week for our Spring Break trip!

Sky Bear was more than up to the task of accommodating our broader party of seven (7) adults and nine (9) children, providing ample living space for everyone's needs throughout our six night stay.

The truly differentiating factor at Three Little Bears Retreat is the attention to detail and the curated, experiential offerings for guests. Agnes, the Guest Experience Manager, and Matt, the owner, took the time and effort to truly provide a stay tailored to our group. Morning yoga sessions and afternoon massages - all arranged and brought on site from local businesses - and craft sessions using natural materials gathered while on a guided hike for the kids were highlights of our stay.
