WISH I WOULD HAVE READ REVIEWS PRIOR TO PULLING IN HERE! GUESS I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT WAS TREATED POORLY:( Was friendly met upon walk-in check in, but after that we did not meet any friendly staff. They were rude about pretty much everything. We paid a pretty penny for 2 adults + 4 kids + 3 dogs ($270 for 4 days) We normally just stick to ourselves - do tours each day and are not party people that bothers anyone. Our dogs does not bark or show any other annoying attitudes. Again - we just needed a place to hook up our RV and do our own things. 1 day we came back from a day trip, they had turned off our water intake, so our washing machine and dishwasher stopped working due to no water. An other day, some friends came to pick up / drop off and within 5 minutes someone showed up and rudely told us that we had to move the vehicle immediately 'cause other people started asking why we could have 3 vehicles on our site, while they were told only 2. On check in - we told the friendly lady that we would need a later check out (and that we gladly would pay for that service). On our check out date, one of the rude guys working came 5 minutes after 11 am (11 am is check out) and told us that it was past check out time. IMPORTANT NOTE!!! The campsite is almost empty- at least 15 empty sites around us and lower campground maybe % occupancy !!! and they were on our case 5 minutes after regular check in!!!! I walked to office and was told that I should have told them that I were checking out late (meanwhile I did upon checking in) They turned off the water on us ...AGAIN!!! We are typical camping (glamping *smile) people. Pretty easy-going. One have to have a lot of patience when travelling with 4 kids and 3 dogs. We are in the hospitality business ourselves and know how important it is to be friendly to your guests. These guys at Caulk Creek Campground and RV should learn a little about customer service. Maybe the campsite is almost empty 'due to poor customer service?? Seen there are plenty other camp sites around here, I would not recommend Caulk Creek Campground & RV. Do your self a favor and find an other place to put your money! Have to pay to get a shower, and wi-fi is very poor. No TV hoook up. No place for us to do our own campfire = no s'mores for kids...
ย ย ย Read moreThis is a great place for easy camping. It has a lot of amenities but most of which you have to pay for. You pay for the shower, the laundry. They do have free potable water that you can fill. Not all sites have water available but you can fill it before you get to the site. This site is located directly next to chalk Creek. Pretty awesome having a creek with heavy rapids just running right next to you. The staff are amazingly kind and ready to help. There's a great little store. They have events such as candy bingo, which is a favorite for my kids. And duck races. All the places have fire pits and what available, also a frisbee golf area, and a nice picnic area next to the creek. The bathrooms are updated and clean, there's a dishwashing station outside,
One big thing for me is that it's dog friendly. You can have your pets leashed and there is a dog park, but that's overselling it a bit as it's a small fenced-in area with gravel some chairs. But it may be nice for some small dogs.
We went Whitewater rafting and the place was only 2 minutes away just down the block. The people were amazing and super great location. They also have white water rafting available here to buy. I'm not sure about their experience but mine was amazing with the kids. It was a small raft and just us and three other guides and a great time.
One complaint I do have is the electrical voltage varied quite a bit and it caused my voltage monitor to stop our power to protect our electrical and things plugged into it. This happened probably 5 to 6 times in a day. I've not had this happen before usually it's just us using too many amps. But that was not the case. So the power is an issue at least in my site which was an RV site with electrical only.
Another small complaint would be that the Wi-Fi is really only around the main office and store area. There is a nice Commons that you could bring your stuff to use Wi-Fi but it is not available camp wide. So if that is something that is important to you make sure you are aware of that. The cell phone reception is pretty good. We went between 4G and 5G so if you don't have Wi-Fi you could have cellular depending on your provider.

ย ย ย Read moreFor over 18 months we have stayed at the property and stored our 5th wheel at a monthly rate as well as paying for site rate over 50 nights. Upon our last reservation in July 2021, we were called by the manager (Gabe) and was informed we could not return for our August, September and October reservations. Reason being, 1. Our weiner dog had not been on their lease...mind you, we were in the primitive site by the road. I had opened the RV door to walk to truck to get leases and some grumpy lady employee on her golf cart shared that I was in violation of rule. Mind you, I was getting leases. 2. Wyatt, my weiner dog followed a friend to the shower house. Ryan our guest was unaware of lease rule. Clearly our fault. He was not on his lease. 3. We vandalized a camper because we plugged a battery into the power supply to charge our battery (hence no electric at site). We were using his power which after talking to Gabe, I offered to pay $20.00 to the camper for our usage which would have been minimal. Plus. You pay a flat rate. We were in primitive site unable to charge. 4. We ran generator at 8pm to cool rv down which owner said we could but not to long or overnight. Once again, primitive site, by HWY 285. Megan said we could, but we were in violation again. 5. My husband was walking to the shower house at 12:15 pm to shower. A employee in golf cart rides beside him and he said, "where do you think you are going?" Ron said to the shower. He replied, "I don't think so!" In an unfriendly tone, he said, "they clean the shower between 12 and 1 daily." However we were not aware of this rule. Once again we were in violation of using the shower at the wrong time which is fine but could have shared information more professionally.
Overall, the staff was very unfriendly and the only friendly person was Debbie. she was exceptionally nice. I did think Megan was nice, however, she refused to return my phone call when we were banished from the property along with my 80 year old parents who had a reservation in October 2021... they were not even there during the time of all the last occurrence. Gabe was very rude and unprofessional in...
