New Village Inn Motel — Hotel in Buffalo Township

Nice little family owned place, Very friendly staff, budget friendly w/cash vs. credit pricing, older dated rooms (w/screen doors) but clean. Does have smoking & non-smoking rooms (smoking fills fast) & pet friendly. If u get a non smoking room u can go smoke outside (just take ur key incase the door closes & DO NOT push the button on the doorknob cuz it'll lock u out even with ur room key, lol) smaller TV up high on wall. You can get cheap cans of soda @ the front desk til about 10 pm. NO coffee in rooms but Gas station & Subway right down the street & few other places (food/bar/local shops) a lil farther down, kinda in "down town Polo". About a ¼ mile down the road on Mason, u'll find Garden View Family Restaurant(not the Cafe on Division) they had pretty good food. Bummer that there's not more places to eat, restaurant wise but its a smaller town with local charm.

Our Pros/Cons.... Pros: Rates-very reasonable (under $70 nightly as of 7/2023), A/C works great! HOT water & Great water pressure (ya wouldn't think it but it does) & Most importantly its Quiet! even for being on the main road. Cons: Hot water-gets hot Very fast so careful to test b4 u jump into the shower/tub...MORE OF A WARNING THEN CON. Real CONS.... Pillows are thin & not real comfy-if possible bring ur own. Not all outlets work. NO coffee in rooms & its up for sale so not sure how long it'll be a quaint, reasonable & quiet place to crash for a night or two... looking to come back for labor day weekend if we aren't...

The Inn keeper was very nice and helpful. The price is nice on a low budget for travel, however sadly in this case you get what you pay for. The beds are very uncomfortable, the pillows feel like bricks, the air conditioners are so loud it is impossible to sleep with them on and there was mildew in the tub... I would...

I love this place completely. I feel like I stepped back into the 1970s. Or maybe the 1980s. If you were going somewhere for modern conveniences, then this is not the place. But if you are going for a clean, good place to sleep then...
