Read moreWas excited to take my kids camping. Invited the grandparents and checked in/paid for my entire party. Nobody was issued bracelets. We were given a parking pass with the #of guests I paid for.
The next day, when gparents showed up, the staff turned them away even after showing screenshots and reciepts. No phone signal = no communication.
Check-out... I asked why my parents were turned away. Instead of explaining they have no valid system to track their guests (like a bracelet or name-per-site list) the lady at the desk w/the NASTY ATTITIDE said it was my fault that I didnt have all guests I paid for each time we came in-and-out of the park. So I asked where the sign was that said we needed to have all guests present. Valid question, I was polite. The "manager" comes from around the corner looking embarrassed as she should be. I explained to the manager there was no sign and that if someone had told me I would have not paid for my parents until they arrived.
To krazy lady who said "u think its my job to explain our rules" why yes Karen (racist white lady) I absolutely do believe its your job. And when u got up and came running after me when I said its fine, keep the money I'll write a review, what was your actual plan? To assault me? I told u when I checked in I had disabled autistic kids with me. Shame on you Karen.
Its next to free to make a sign. I'll even write it out for you Karen.
PLEASE DONT PAY FOR GUESTS ARRIVING AFTER CHECK-IN. PAY FOR WEEKEND PASS ONLY UPON ARRIVAL.
See how easy that was Karen? Now all u need is a sharpie and a piece of copy paper and maybe some tape. They offer basic communication and customer service TED talks online for free. They have schools that teach you HOW to communicate with customers. Its free Karen. Take some classes because ur personality makes u a very...
Read moreI'm sitting with your picture sweetheart... that sweet smile, your hair curling softly at the corners of your eyes... the one you loved. Well we've been banned from the park. Yes, by a new peace-keeper I'm afraid. Don't know what happened to our Ranger friend. Hopefully he only retired. He was our age. Yes, we'll always be old school but the new man is all New Age. Oh, and a new truck—so expensive looking! But maybe it'll help with the crime. Oh yes, crime's gotten much worse and we'd probably have left anyway. OK, there's not much to tell except that the coach took a beating... At the hand of the Peacekeeper if you can believe it. I'm sure it was a simple case of mistaken identity. Apparently the Peacekeeper wasn't thorough enough in his inspection to locate my green tag... Quickly turning it into a case of “Act first and ask questions later.” I can't say more except that it was right on the windshield—the tag I mean. You know the ladies asked for it on the left as they could read it as we went past their window. Well I was inside at the time and he beat the siding up one side and again on the rear...With a wooden stick! All over a mistake as I said. It woke me from my nap and scared me half to death. Fortunately my angina pills were handy. The crime really is out of control. I'll buff out the marks he left, don't worry. The ladies seem enamored of the new man. One of them told me that there are strict demeanor rules now. Well that's a start but how decorous could it be having one's vehicle abused so? Would he have done the same to a Lexus? Oh the double standards nowadays. Thank Heaven for the memories....
