Bergheim Ranch Event Venue & Lodging — Hotel in Bulverde

Our experience at Bergheim Ranch was incredible!! I have nothing negative to say about our time spent there. We felt so welcomed from the first day we went on the property, including our kids. All our questions were answered quickly and thoroughly just a phone call/email away. We were even able to go check out the venue a couple more times after locking in our date, to make sure we were planning accordingly to the space we rented. Barbara and Frank went above and beyond for us to ensure we had a smooth wedding day, despite our major caterer issues we had going on (completely unrelated to the venue). Our stay at the guest home and two bungalows was relaxing; everything was super clean, and the environment was quiet and peaceful. Look elsewhere! You would be better off getting married in your backyard. The “owners” or whoever they are, are not accommodating. Pouring down rain for someone’s big day and they were no help what-so-ever. Had no back up plan for the outdoor ceremony. Luckily, the coordinator was able to take charge and get everything situated. No thanks to the one individual working the venue all weekend. In fact, even if the weather would’ve cooperated, I’m willing to bet not much would’ve changed because they really have no business running a venue. We felt we were being spied on all weekend long. Wouldn’t be surprised if they had cameras watching you. That’s the extent of “being watched” we felt....

A fantastic location for a wedding. We were supposed to have an out door wedding but unfortunately it was cold and damp. Barbara and her staff found a way to bring the wedding indoors. They provided heaters and kept the place warm. The bridal party stayed and got ready in a beautiful cabin while the groomsmen stayed in treehouse type cabins. We never had to ask for anything as it seemed Barbara was always one step ahead in thinking what we would need.
