First, having over 18 years as an executive for a large hotel chain I have to tell you this review I’m confident will not do justice to this Inn without experiencing it first hand. Their service, kindness and hospitality go well above any five star location you will ever visit. From my first call to Stephanie to the end of my stay the impeccable touch to detail have left me in awe! I found this AMAZING bed and breakfast while looking online for a stay for just one night for a last minute (same day) business trip. I phoned and Stephanie (the owner and Innkeeper) answered and was informative, kind and accommodating. While speaking on the phone she found out through conversation I love wine, I mean who doesn’t lol 😂 and she mentioned that being a small town that most places weren’t open as it was a Monday so my options for dinner were limited to pizza, a hot dog from the local convenience store, lol or I was more than welcome to cook in their own fully stocked impeccable kitchen. Though I can cook I was not interested in cooking as I wanted to relax and enjoy the amazing scenery and the very inviting copper jetted tub. She asked “would you like to have a special dinner prepared by our chef and served in house” I was amazed and quickly said “YES”. Upon my arrival; just 3 hours after my original call, Stephanie greeted me at the entrance and made my welcome very personable and warm. This Inn full of detail and character that will amaze anybody. She had 2 bottles of wine delivered to me directly and after getting settled in informed she was able to get me a private wine tasting at the local winery in town. I was not just amazed but excited. The wine tasting went well and upon my arrival back at the Inn I freshened up and was informed their chef had dinner prepared and ready in the main dining room. Walking in I will say it took my breath away! The pictures I am posting will not speak to the flavors of the food but I assure you it was INCREDIBLE!! After an entire meal fit for a king, or queen; I was escorted outside to an awaiting fire near the creek and it was just perfect. I ended the night with a relaxing soak in the copper tub with jets running while listening to soothing spa sounds! The details they’ve covered show their passion and joy for making this place a success. You MUST book here as I’m confident you will receive the same great attention to detail and quality whether stopping by for a quiet weekend getaway or driving to just drive and stop I strongly recommend you do it. Put this location on your must see and let them pamper you for much less than the most costly places! Have...
Read moreI had a wonderful week and will be returning two more times as I made adjustments to fit this charming place into my cross country travels. I was lucky to have some interesting guests at the same time I was there. Stephanie is a ball of energy to keep this place going and refurbished with other activities in her life. I never felt unappreciated. The nearby creek was full of fish to look at from a deck she has built. The water was a little too low to Kayak, but it would likely be possible with some rainfall. Did some hiking at Dale Hollow and lunch at the Landing was nice (and has a place to feed fish that come there to mooch). Amish store makes good sandwiches to go and in town there is a nice Mexican restaurant with a great tropical salt water fish tank and interesting...
Read moreThe Concetta De is a very special place! I grew up driving by this beautiful old mansion my whole life and never dreamed I would get the opportunity to have a wedding shower and rehearsal dinner here, as well as house my entire bridal party here the night before my wedding and get ready here morning of my wedding. It made for the most beautiful and special space and Stephanie and her crew will bend over backwards to help make things go as smoothly as possible! It is perfect for all kinds of events and is even a wonderful spot to stay the night if you are visiting the lake or Bodock farms for a weekend! I just love it here and can’t wait for the next time I...
