Manager is the absolute worst, sour, bitter, uncaring, hard, rude person I have ever come in contact with in a servi e position. I asked for the manager because of her and like she was straight from a horror movie she said coldly, "I am the manager.". She and the stay were a waking nightmare that started at checkin. The beds hard as granite, internet does not work , mold in bathroom calk, floors were damp, bugs in public breakfast area, trash and flies overflowing the trashcan directly in front of the hotel entrance the entire time we stayed, no bathroom in the lobby, no elevator to 2nd floor, internetwas non existing when you tried to load anything it disappeared. At check out time, my daughter had a severe fibromyalgia flare up and she also has a heart condition and was in severe pain, I thought that check out on Saturday was at 12pm. We were running a bit late due to my daughter having a full on pain and other issues. Then at 12:30 pm the manager appeared at the door screaming not asking us to "Get Out Now!" I explained that I thought the check out time was 12pm and that I had been helping my daughter who was in severe pain, (brought on partly because of the granite like beds) and again explained about my daughter's disability. However, she continued screaming and holding the door open and let our small dog run out. I asked her to close the door to contain the dog and also allow us to finish packing. She did not, so I did. We continued to finish packing and trying to get things down the stairs. 5 min later we were called and threatened with the police coming to escort my family out of the hotel. The hotel was not full for that night. I checked. Then 4 days later I was charged a random $275 on my credit card. So, in total this horrid place charged me $633 for 2 nights stay that was absolutely hellish.

If I could give negative stars, I would! Rooms, hot tub, pool, etc... everything in this hotel is disgusting!!! We checked in and promptly checked right back out, eating the cost of a nights stay. At first management wasn’t going to refund any of our four night stay, but ended up only charging us for one night with the assistance of ...for our total of less then 2 hours being on property, mostly spent attempting to speak with on-site management whom was not physically to be found for excess of 30mins. Wyndham corporate attempted to help but was not able to do much being independently owned. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I can’t even imagine eating their breakfast 😝 pics are upon arrival.

The pool and hot tub were closed when we arrived. There was no mention of it when we called for reservations. The bathroom was so small in our room, we had to stand in the shower or straddle the toilet to get the bathroom door closed! The beds were not very comfortable, and the pillow had a tear in it and stuffing was coming out. The man at the counter at check in was very hard to understand due to his thick accent. I will not be staying here again and I would not recommend unless nothing else in the area is available.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Booked a birthday party here just as we did last year. Was not told any changes had occurred. From the minute I walked into the establishment I was met by the hostile female front desk employee. There was a miscommunication on time and I was a bit upset, but I let it go. Things happen I get it, no problem. Thought party was going fine up until the end. We were cleaning up the party room and over the sound of the vacuum I could hear screaming and swearing. Apparently a rock had been put in the side door. That door was being used for the adults helping pack up party stuff to get to their cars and I guess the door would hit the rock as they walked out. Let me tell you a LITTLE KINDNESS GOES A LONG WAY. If the front desk employee had come down like an adult and not screaming and swearing like a banshee, this probably would have been a different story. She then proceeded at some point to lock all bathroom doors so the kids couldn't change out of their wet clothes. It's FEBRUARY IN WISCONSIN NOT WARM WEATHER! She tore a pool towel out of a child's hand that a deposit was put down on. She came into the pool at 3 and screamed and swore for everyone to get out including customers who had bought day passes to swim. She screamed and swore at kids for apparently running. I had children crying and freaked out from ages 4 to 10. One adult went down to the desk to find out what was going. That escalated into this adult being called some version of a white trash redneck and other profanities. Another guest caught that on camera. As my husband who was apparently the only nice person out of like 15+ adults was walking down the hall to turn our keys in, he heard both employees saying not so nice stuff about us. I will never ever come back to this place or reccomend it! Corporate was contacted and I did get an EMAIL apology from the general manager, was told retraining would happen and said employee would reprimanded. While I appreciate a quick response from corporate and general management as a mother this has not settled how I feel. My 4 YEAR OLD CHILD keeps asking me why that lady swore at them? My 8 year old who was one of the birthday girls refuses to talk about it. If you offer birthday partys then be prepared for children to talk loud and be excited. I am embarrassed and I hope you're happy for ruining what was suppose to be a nice time for kids. I also hope that retraining truly helps before you end up...

I'd booked a king whirlpool suite a few weeks in advance, on-line, with remarks that I needed pet friendly accomodations on the first floor as I was traveling with my old arthritic dog. Having booked successfully this way with no less than 3 other pet friendly hotel chains, I typically ask for a phone call if they can't accommodate, but can't recall if I did in this case. Either way, I called the hotel directly prior to my arrival to confirm that all was well, and was informed that they indeed has my reservations for pet friendly accomodations on the first floor, great! Upon my arrival, I was informed at the front desk that they'd changed my room from a king whirlpool suite to a double queen standard. Well, now I'm disappointed, stuck out of town, my dogs are in my truck, and the gal at the front desk (who I spoke to earlier to confirm the room was all set) is making zero accomodations for this mix up, but is repeatedly explaining to me about dog fur in whirlpool jets don't mix (I really wasn't planning on putting them in the tub) and that this is simply their policy, assuring me only that she's not the bad guy, but that her manager made the change. Great... Well, when dealing with disappointing experiences I'm far more willing to get over it when its accompanied by some decent customer service, there was none of that here, just some bickering and several things I'd call lies, she told me she'd told me of the room change on the phone after first asking who I'd spoken to. I asked for a manager and was told they were out of town and I'd have to call them Monday. On another note, The room seemed clean but smelled bad, so not terribly clean and I had to hunt someone down to find someone to provide me with a receipt at checkout after no one answered their front desk phone. Being this is one of the few pet friendly places in the area, you might get stuck here, but don't expect them to treat you as any sort of valued customer. A disappointing experience in general, I...

The entrance is a little confusing as there is a daycare sharing the same plot of the land and the driveways are right next to each other with no clear marking/ sign for either to differentiate. One of the first things I noticed was the hot tub was out of order. Someone else commented that they said the hot tub just went out of order, but I can verify that the hot tub has been out of order for a minimum of six months probably much longer. I don't believe there's any intention to fix it. I'm confused as to where the money goes because they charge more nightly than the nicer AmericInns in the nicer towns but provide less accommodations. :( The pool has been out of order for at least a month now and addition to the hot tub. The rooms do not have bathtubs. I repeat, no bathtubs. So when you've been on a long drive or a long day at work and you really just want to soak your tired bones in a hot bath, that is not possible here. They also have second floor rooms but no elevator. When I come it's for several days so I have a lot of luggage and I also have bad arthritis and even if I put in a comments to please get a ground level four due to my bad knees I still get put on the second floor, with no elevator, and all these items to carry. There is no workout room. I do agree with another review that the bathrooms are too small to even shut the door. You can't even sit on the toilet and shut the door because your knees are in the way. You have to stand in the shower to close the bathroom door and then go sit on the toilet. And then repeat the process to get the door open. You have to get fully in the shower in order to turn the water on and get it to your desired temperature 😳😳 Some of the shower heads are so high you can't move the shower flow out of the way in order to do this, and some are fixed in place. Front desk staff are pleasant and seem...
