Davis Family Lodge — Hotel in Burnsville

We were told that this place was motorcycle friendly. Well that was wrong. The driveway to the cabin was loose gravel and several bikes were dropped trying to get to the top. We ended up parking in a neighbors motorhome cover. We thanked them for their kindness. BEDBUGS! I got all chewed up from them. Never will I go back. Kitchen floor was a trip hazard due to water damage from the dishwasher that couldn't be used. Hot tub was dirty and only a few jets worked and those didn't work well. No cover for it so water evaporated quickly which then you fill with cold water and takes a day to heat back up. All in all its a nice place if some updating and repairs were done, however I will never go back and not...

My daughter is currently staying there 8/2024 with her boyfriend and his family and there are bed bugs in the bunk beds and one of the other rooms. The owners are obviously aware of this as there are other comments made about this. That is pretty sad that people plan and pay for a vacation and have to worry about bed bugs. Honestly the owners should be ashamed of themselves whom are obviously taking advantage of people. They are continuing to rent this cabin knowingly with bed bugs!!!!!!!! DO NOT...

Absolutely DO NOT STAY HERE! WE FOUND BED BUGS within an hour of arrival and he still acted like we were nuts asking for a refund bc we had to rent another cabin 2 hours away. This was a destination wedding and the reception was supposed to be at the cabin as well so for this guy to refuse us a refund when we only were at his place an hour is insane. Do NOT rent from this guy...
