Hilltop Cabins — Hotel in Burt Township

We arrived late on the afternoon of July 3rd....I knew when we drove in we had picked a good one :) Jeanette was there to great us and welcome us to her place. Which was lovely lots of pretty flowers, grounds well maintained, the cabins and motel were lovely.....I loved our room which included a Kitchenette it was so great to be able to cook everything was pretty much there that we needed....I am a camper so I had stuff with me to ;) even if I would not have it would have worked great! Everything was clean and neat and we slept like babies it was SO quiet.....our bedroom view was out the back of one of Jeanette's garden area which had places to sit ....I wish we could have stayed a couple of more days...to enjoy the grills and the firepit she provided to her guests....we did watch the fireworks from the lovely deck and had a great view since we had decided to not venture down to town....I would HIGHLY recommend this place based on all of the above......esp the quiet even during 4th of July Festivities I hope to get back here again at some point....if you have a big family DO look at the cabins they are wonderful each has its own personality I really don't think you can go wrong here and again Jeanette lovely hostess who works hard to make her...

we stayed 7/24 -7/27. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like a distant relative coming to visit. the attention to detail in the cabin, the baked goods, the environment, the office, and the amazing staff were Amazing and memorable. a place to make wonderful memories with family and friends, its close to the towns amazing food and great location close to the beach. The views are breathtaking and the sunset is one of the most beautiful scenic views ever!! This place is more than just a cabin. Its a place where family can mingle with other families and just have a great time. Jeanette is the owner and her kindness and love for this peaceful place shows. From the decorations, to the great conversations. She showed me her favorite Falls and beaches, restaurants, and just made me feel at home. Her son Travis and his wife Candace made my time even more enjoyable. on my first night we enjoyed a campfire together and had great conversation. Hilltop Cabins is exceptional, the staff is family and they are also exceptional. Thanks for making my family feel...

I have a room in the motel section. Room is clean and comfortable. The usual creature comforts are here, fresh towels and linens, coffee pot and coffee provided, microwave, mini fridge, and a nice TV with a good selection of basic cable. From what I can tell, however, there is no AC. For us it's been a cool few days so it's not a big deal, but on hot days I can see it getting toasty in here. The walls are a bit thin leading to us being able to hear the people in the adjacent rooms, but it's not enough to be bothered by it. The two people working for the owner are courteous and easy to work with and fixed a small clog in the shower drain. It's a little rough around the edges, but that is to be expected with a small set of family owned cabins and motel. The area is beautiful and is very much worth returning to. I might try the Sunset Cabins up the road next...
