If you're the type of guy, or gal, or gal reading for your guy that needs help (wink, wink); that likes the idea of not having to worry about bringing food, or drink, or coffee, or toiletries, all while having a comfortable, clean, and affordable place to stay, look no further. The rooms and beds are what they are, it's no Marriott, but they are clean and comfortable. I'm writing this at 4am on Nov. 13th 2020, from lobby of the Oak Creek Inn, where I just enjoyed breakfast from the stocked fridge, while my buddy is sawing logs so loudly I'm actually kind of concerned he might give himself a concussion. It's so nice being able to sit in the lobby, drink coffee, and help myself to breakfast burritos, Jimmy Dean breakfast bowls and croissants, hot pockets, ice cream, candy, chips, soup, gatorade, soda, and on and on. Forgot something, perhaps toiletries, no problem. Hungry, or thirsty? No problem. Tammy has this place very well kept, stocked, comfortable, and inviting. Read moreWe traveled through Butte on a holiday weekend. There was NOTHING open except the Oak Creek Inn. We stopped to ask if there was a public restroom in town. She graciously invited us to use the bathroom in one of the guest rooms. This little inn looked rather shabby on the outside - in need of paint and TLC. The room she showed us to was certainly not fancy or the latest in decor. But it was SPOTLESS!!! It smelled fresh and clean with none of that musty old motel odor. As we prepared to leave, she came out to our car asked if she could get a cup of coffee or anything. We declined and I inquired about room rates. I was amazed at how reasonable the cost was.
