Highly Recommend This Bed and Breakfast Experience! Hello, everyone! Bed and breakfasts are becoming super popular in the U.S. These are unique accommodations where you stay in a charming inn and enjoy a homemade breakfast prepared by the host. We recently stayed at The Inn at Twin Linden in Pennsylvania hosted by Mike and Kyra, and it was such a great experience! We stayed in The Palladian Suite, which was absolutely gorgeous and unique—it felt like living in a castle 🏰! The suite was on the top floor (third floor) and was incredibly clean. It even had a bathtub for soaking! The host thoughtfully left bottled water and chocolates for us on the table, which was such a sweet touch. The mattress was incredibly comfortable—it was a Nectar Premium. We loved it so much that we ended up buying one for ourselves when we got home! The inn’s surroundings were beautiful, with swings, a backyard with chickens 🐔, a cozy fireplace, and lots of plants. There were so many lovely spots for taking photos. Breakfast was a four-course feast, very generous in portion size, and everything was made from organic ingredients, including eggs from their own chickens. We were so full by the end! The hosts were incredibly welcoming—Kyra cooked the breakfast, while Mike joined us at the table. This was my first time sitting at a big table with other guests, chatting while enjoying a delicious meal. It was a surprisingly enjoyable experience! The area around the inn is mostly farmland, so you’ll see lots of cows grazing and other animals along the way. The region is also home to many Amish communities, where people don’t use electricity or cars—they still get around in horse-drawn buggies! On our first evening, we had dinner at a nearby barbecue spot called Stampede Barbecue, and it was fantastic! I’ve always thought barbecue here is great—Mission Barbecue is already good, but this place was even better! The short ribs were so tender and flavorful, they practically melted in your mouth. Definitely order a few extra ribs because one serving is never enough! The beer 🍺 was also amazing—definitely worth trying. If you’re looking for a getaway, I highly recommend trying a bed and breakfast like this one.

We can’t say enough about the wonderful experience we had staying at The Inn at Twin Linden. My husband and I were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. We were joined by our 3 children and their spouses. Everyone loved their rooms. Each unique room was clean and comfortable. Kyra and Mike were welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a bonus with the Farm to Table meal on Saturday evening. Served outside on a beautiful summer evening we were treated to a wonderful 5 course meal prepared with love! In the evening we spent our time visiting around the fire pit. Breakfast was delicious, freshly prepared and served by Kyra. We appreciated that all the foods we ate are locally sourced. Even though most of our family are local folks to Lancaster County we would definitely come back and stay at the inn again. If you are looking for a charming, quiet place to spend some time in Lancaster County, we highly recommend this place.

I have been to the Inn at Twin Linden multiple times and every time I go it is more and more wonderful. From the warm and cozy rooms to the delicious breakfast to the delightful conversations it has been a very enjoyable experience every visit. I am biased when it comes to the rooms because I only stay in the Polo room. The bed is very comfortable, the view is beautiful overlooking the garden, it is quieter since it is located in the back of the house, and the accommodating in suite bathroom with shower is just enough for what I need. The breakfast is not just an ordinary breakfast, it is usually a three course meal that is all local and fresh. They also serve the best coffee. Kyra and Mike, the Inn keepers are very welcoming, friendly and make you feel right at home upon arrival. I would have to say that the Inn feels like a home away from home for me.

WOW! I do not even know where to start! If you are looking for a top of the line B&B, look no further! My fiancé and I have spent quite some time away at many B&B's, but this was by far the BEST! We have never felt more at home (minus the kids) than we did here. Laurie was so welcoming and thought of everything we could have possibly needed for the weekend already awaiting us in our room. After the amazing breakfast which was all sooooo delicious, we spent a few hours each morning talking with Laurie who was such great company! She put so much heart into each dish she served (as you get 3 courses) and we were so full that we skipped lunch both days. The presentation of each course was out of this world! Not only was the Inn itself to die for in beauty, but Laurie had decorated for x-mas and let me just tell you, we have never seen more beautiful and so detailed x-mas decorations in our lives! We couldn't have asked for a more romantic getaway and this is a must see! Her reviews say it all and even though it may not be as many reviews as other places nearby, you have to look at each review to see that there has NEVER been one bad review! We realized a long time ago that simply going off of how many reviews a place has, is not as important as a place that has ALL positive reviews. Reviews are so important to us and once we read each one from this B&B and saw ZERO negative reviews, we had realized this was the place to go. We made the right choice and we will 100% be back on a regular basis. Laurie - Thank you again for everything and making us feel so relaxed and cozy for our little weekend getaway with no kids. :) BRAVO!

FYI - Everything was sanitized for COVID and all...

Looking for the best inn around? Look no further!

This is the best place to stay if you want comfort, tranquility, peace and relaxation! The new owner, Kyra, is top notch! If you need ANYTHING, she is on it in a heartbeat. I felt more welcome than I’ve ever felt anywhere else I’ve stayed. The beds are more comfortable than my bed, and that’s hard to beat. And the sheets? Unbelievably soft and cool. The room was completely private, you have your own bathroom, and it’s so secluded, you feel like you’re in your own oasis. Forget it, you will not want to get out of bed. BUT, if you do… you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

The food was amazing, the view is incredible, and the staff are so sweet and the staff were accommodating, friendly and helpful. We didn’t want for anything at all while we were there.

They even have shops within a few minute walk/ride. What more could you want?!

If you’re on the edge of if you should go or not… GO FOR IT! You will not be sorry.

Side note: This review is coming from someone that is picky because I like the comforts of my own home. I was proven that staying somewhere besides home can be an excellent experience - with the comforts of home and the service of a...
