I would not take them up on their offer for a discount on my next stay for leaving a fabulous 5 star review. This is my full and honest review. We have stayed at this park throughout the last thirty plus years. It has gone extremely downhill, but has been making a comeback over the last 10 ish years. I would say anything The new owners have done is comparable to putting lipstick on a pig. Pulling in there is a new mail box with the old dilapidated mailbox, laying right next to it. Ditches, overgrown with grass from not being properly cut an abundance of overgrowth of autumn olive bushes. The main island of flower beds are so overgrown, with 3 to 5 foot sumac bushes you can't even make out what flowers are there. Flower gardens throughout the property over ran with weeds. I believe the gentleman's name is Nat Or Nate, he was extremely Disturbing to say the least. The fact that he was so pushy about people joining him at a community fire pit, surrounded by weeds, gave us predator vibes. Definitely not someplace I would let my grandchildren play with other kids if he was around. The game room is less than desirable. Paint all over the few chairs with the table with lincoln logs of some sort and puzzles. There was a ping pong table and tv. Again, my grandkids walked in and immediately Nat came out of the store like a creeper . Asking if they wanted to play a game. The week we were there, the pool opened. It definitely needs major work. However, I am happy that they were able to get it operational. It was refreshing for the kids. The buckled cement is definitely not ADA Friendly. Moving forward campsite, 20 is where we were placed. Knee high grass around the fire pit had to rip the grass out ourselves for a fire. Throughout the entire campground, nothing is maintained properly cut or trimmed. The woman Avery was okay, had a very disturbing smile. As she walked around with a camera, recording herself, constantly super awkward according to my grandchildren. They are very aggressive and become defensive. If you bring up anything that requires attention. He has a "bad back and hurt foot and she works online". I wish them the best of luck. We will return next year to hopefully see some sort of drastic improvement from the minimal, they have...
Read moreThe service was great and the lady was nice. However this does not have the feel of a family campground and rules are not followed by everyone. This more had the feel of a long term RV park. People had campers that have been in the same spot with the area built up and decorated like a home, which I don't have a problem with, it just made us feel unwelcome and unwanted in our camper van. I feel they don't put a lot into upkeep and maintaining things. The fence around the pool had many broken pieces and what looked like black mold on parts. There was very scarce furniture that was all mismatched with a broken swing. The "playground" is all little kid stuff that nobody over two could play on. We were so unhappy that we stayed less than two hours before we left without even caring about losing our money and just drove home.
Response to owner's response. The review you are referring to that was made and removed was my husband's review under his name and his account and had absolutely nothing to do with me, as he is his own person and does what he wants. When I called you on July 10th, I didn't ask for any specific type of hook-up, I just asked if you had a site available for the night of July 29th. You never asked what kind of hook-up I needed and I never said anything, you just said you had a pull-through available. I also don't know anything about aggressive messages, again if they are from my husband that has nothing at all to do with me and I don't appreciate you trying to put his actions on me, we are two different people. We have learned from our mistake and next time will make our events just day trips if the state campgrounds are booked up again so that way mishaps like this don't...

Simply blown away by this newly revived campground, and I can’t say enough good things! Under new ownership, this once-forgotten spot has been completely transformed into a warm, welcoming, and fun-filled retreat for families and campers of all kinds.
The new owners are some of the hardest-working, kindest people you’ll ever meet — you can tell this isn’t just a business for them, it’s a dream come true. Their love and dedication to bringing this old campground back to life is evident in every detail.
The community of campers seem friendly, respectful, and fun. You will feel like you’re a part of something special. Kids will have an absolute blast, especially in the beautiful, refreshing pool on those hot summer days. The game room is a hit too — packed with charm, and just enough to keep everyone entertained on a rainy afternoon. It even has a little store with necessities and treats! The entire campground looks safe, clean, and full of positive energy.
I’m so impressed by how much love has been poured into this place. It’s truly a labor of love, and it shows. I cannot wait to take a trip down memory lane and visit this childhood memory of mine! Highly,...
