I had a lot of issues with this place compared to what was advertised: -It is very close to the highway so that is all you can hear and from the inside of the lake cabins, the highway is the view. -They don't allow you to bring your own firewood then they charge you $15 for a bundle of 4 logs! -The lakeside cabins that they advertise as romantic have NO CURTAINS on the HUGE windows which face the office! Anyone in the office and anyone walking in front of your unit can see right in! This was the biggest issue for us and felt VERY intrusive and uncomfortable. It felt like we were in a fish bowl with someone watching us. The game room is a poorly lit uninsulated garage. We were there on a rainy day and the game room was dark, cold and not comfortable at all. -The bathrooms are a LONG ways from any of the units and you have to walk dirt roads to get to them so the bathrooms and the showers are full of dirt. -The cleanliness of the unit was bad. My fridge was dirty and has food left in it from previous people.
I think this place was a great idea with poor location and terrible execution. The is no attention to cleanliness or detail which makes it uncomfortable...

PROS: Pretty and intimate setting. The firepit was cozy. The view from our hillside cabin was very pretty. The bathrooms were clean and modern. We were the only people staying there at the time so it was very quiet. If you just like to chill and sit you'd be happy here. We went and had dinner at Theo's Restaurant in Cambridge and it was delicious.
CONS: This is not accessible if you have some kind of physical limitations. The bathrooms are a small hike from the lakeside cabins, and a tall hike to the hillside cabins. We had to park by the lake and carry our luggage from our car to the cabin (after being driven up to the cabin to be shown it in a UTV--- I'm not sure why he didn't offer to drop our luggage off). I have added photos of the hill for reference. We did not pack lightly because we didn't know we had to lug our stuff up a hill. If you want a slightly easier walk to the bathrooms, the lakeside option is better. We went on a Monday and unfortunately in the closest town there really isn't much to do, but we got some good food. There isn't anywhere to hike, which is a shame in such a...

My wife, our dog, and I stayed at the cabin for one night and overall had a decent experience. Check-in was smooth and easy, and the cabin was clean and comfortable, which we appreciated. The bathroom was also spotless, contributing to a pleasant stay.
However, there were a few minor disappointments. We were looking forward to enjoying a cup of Blue Rose Coffee from the trailer early in the morning, as advertised on their website, which opens at 9 AM. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we found that the trailer only had Keurig McDonald’s coffee pods available, which was not what we expected.
Additionally, when we checked out around 11 AM, the office was locked, and no staff was available to speak with. We didn't have any direct interaction with campground representatives during our stay, which made it difficult to get questions answered or address concerns.
Overall, it was an average to good stay—comfortable accommodations with some room for improvement in communication and amenities. We might consider returning if the amenities and staff availability are enhanced...
