Families this resort is for you!!!! Or even a romantic getaway! The location was on a more secluded area perfect for relaxing with kids. (If you think that's not possible I'm here to say my husband and I enjoyed our stay with 5 children. ) There are free kayaks to use on the property, just check the oars out at the office. You will find life jackets there too. Want to have a challenge? You can check out board games, and spend time in the game room. Parents you don't need quarters! Want them to get out some energy before bed? Let them swim on the 2 private beach area or let them play on the 2 playground areas. Dads want to tell your favorite campfire stories? There are multiple firepits to enjoy the passed down tradition. Enjoy plenty of seating and picnic tables overlooking multiple boat slips. Want to prove to your kids you actually know how to fish? You will find poles at the ready to be cast, at the office. Rooms were perfect in size, the kitchen was stocked with all the dishes you would need to have for a family meals. Want the kids to think happy thoughts after you scared them with the spooky campfire stories? You will find cable with their favorites shows and Wi-Fi. .....Don't know what to say about how to make your wife happy, now that the kids think the Lurker (Bigfoots cousin) is at the lake. HE IS!!! Possibly.... draw her a hot bath in the clean bathroom while you lay the kids down for bed. I recommend laying toddlers who roll on the pull out bed with the cushions on the clean floor. I was assured the thud was not my child. Hey don't judge... he stayed a sleep. Once, kids are asleep sit on the balcony as a couple and enjoy the view with a soda. Cherish these moments because time passes quickly and Point View resort helped our family have a wonderful fun filled vacation. We ventured out and explored the lake attractions. We will definitely be staying here again! We stayed in a cozy 3 bedroom cabin on the second floor.(Some photos are of...

I recently stayed here based on other's outstanding reviews of the place, and noticed several families returned year after year. Now I know why! We definitely plan to make a repeat visit. What a hidden gem! This place is extremely clean. The kitchens are outfited with every amenity possible if you want to cook for yourselves (we did). Each cabin comes with a charcoal grill which is cleaned daily by the staff so no icky grates or need to cook on tin foil. The owners are very pleasant and outgoing. Lots of things to do on the property to keep you busy like jet skiing (for a fee), fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, a great game room (pool table, air hockey, even some vintage video games. There's an awesome trampoline swim platform and a porch full of blow-up floats for the lake that are free for guests to use. Temps were in the 90's so we didn't have a chance to use the fire pit but thought it was really cool. My only complaint, which is so minor, was that my vegetable peeler was pretty dull, and if you plan to use the sleeper sofa, you can feel the springs in the mattress so you might want to bring a camping mattress to put on top for extra padding. I look forward to another visit and if you're thinking about coming...

I am 31 years old and have been coming down to this resort since I was 4 years old. I have seen 3 ownership changes and the current owners are amazing. They are extremely personable and always willing to go the extra mile to accomodate.

The current owners have revitalized the entire resort. From renovated cabins, to a new game room/activities (washers, bags, kayaks) this resort is fresh and amazing. You can not find a better resort and if you enjoy fishing, look no further. They have a heated fishing dock, 3 docks total. Each dock has baited fishing wells and each dock has a bait light on the end. The fish are always biting, trust me, from a family that has never had a boat, this is the best resort for fishing from the shore. They also have boats/seadoos for rental. Also, they have a bait shack stocked with minnows and worms for purchase. The cabins all have fiber internet and are very clean and well kept, almost everyone has an amazing view of the lake and can almost cast your line from the porch.

This resort holds a very special place in my heart and is literally my version of heaven. This place is everything advertised and more. I can't wait for many more generations of my family to continue coming down to Point...

Honestly, one of the best decisions we have made for a family trip! Rooms were nice and cozy. Basically like tiny apartments complete with kitchenette and bedrooms. Beds were so freaking comfortable too. I slept amazingly! The lake is mere feet away from the front door. Docks for boats and fishing. Trampoline on the water and little beach areas for swimming. You can borrow the paddle boats and kayaks. There are playgrounds and a game room for kids. Town is only 20 minutes away. They had grills and firepits to roast weenies or make s'mores. Patios for lounging and outdoor meals. Owners/Operators were so sweet and down to earth people. The view was great. Fishing was great. Lots of perch, crappie, cats, and bass. found some cool stones and shells in the water... my kids hardly touched a phone or tablet the whole time. We basically lived in the water. There are tons of resorts over in this area apparently and this is our first time here. Definitely not disappointed in our choice to stay here!

It was our first time at Point View and I would highly recommend especially for families. The owners have thought of everything for their guest from lake floaties, sand toys, playgrounds, kayaks, paddle boards, games and a game room. There is so much to do and the resort is very family friendly. The cabins are well appointed. All the extras are included. Cooking you will need to bring basics like oil, salt and pepper but otherwise it has everything.
