Disappointed with Cowboy Motel's Customer Service

I booked a room at The Cowboy Motel for a family wedding, but due to a severe upper respiratory infection, my doctor advised me not to travel, per CDC guidelines. I promptly informed the motel and provided them with a doctor's note. However, despite the clear medical reason and the uncertainty of my recovery, the motel refused to issue a full refund. Instead, they are only offering a 50% refund, which feels very unfair given the circumstances.
