ElKen Retreat — Hotel in Canton

We took a chance and just booked at random for our anniversary trip two years ago. We loved the property, the hospitality, the hosts, and the area so much that we came back for a long weekend to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We may have also come back partially for the dogs…though we have to make an effort to see them since Jen and Jason make it a point to keep them from disturbing guests.

Jen and Jason go out of their way to make their guests feel not just welcome, but pampered. This is the best place to stay in Canton. Our room was comfortable, clean and we wanted for nothing. We slept so comfortably and soundly (5 star quality). The owners go above and beyond to make sure every guest is taken care of. Breakfast, cookies, treats and snacks in your room. ElKen was the perfect place to host friends from Australia. The kids loved their own beds, the muffins and cookies, and squealed with joy when they met the dogs. The Christmas decorations made for a beautiful ambiance with the pool. My friend kept commenting on how kind everyone was and the girls even left saying ‘ma’am’ with a giggle.
