We had a 2 night stay and had a great time! Location: Great beach town on the calm bay. Very quick drive to the beach/town that has plenty of stores and restaurants to choose from.

Accomodations: Easy access from parking to homes. Stayed in Fisherman which had a lot of space for 2 with a separate area for the queen size bed that you can close off with a privacy curtain. The home had plenty of windows on all sides for natural light. The kitchen was well appointed and you can easily make a cooktop only meal. There was also a waffle iron and coffee maker, and all fridge w/freezer.

The ROKU TV is on a moveable arm to be seen from the living room or bedroom areas. The bathroom is small as expected and the shower is a little tight but gets the job done. AC/water/electricity worked well.*

There is a small porch with 2 chairs in front of the cabin and a larger communal area with a huge fire pit, lawn games, seating, large outdoor family style dinning table and 2 grills for use. It is a great property for a small to moderate sized family reunion or wedding.

The response from the owners was fantastic and prompt which is always greatly appreciated.

We definitely plan to visit again and for a longer stay.

Side note: Pets are allowed in certain cabins so be sure to read ALL of the info to make sure you choose the appropriate cabin for you. You CAN reserve any cabin available if you are traveling without a pet so be sure you are OK with that before booking especially if you have significant allergies. They do a good job with removing animal dander and there were no pet odors but...

What a wonderful experience! My stay at Tiny Livin exceeded my expectations. It was the perfect wknd getaway to recharge and reset. Upon arrival, my husband and I were personally greeted by the owner, Mr. Eric Hawkins. Eric was very welcoming and hospitable. We arrived a little early, so he offered to let us enter the cottage sooner than expected which was very gracious and kind. After a 4 hour drive, we were ready to get settled in. Our cottage, Milk, was perfect. Modern, clean and beautifully decorated. All the necessities needed for our stay was provided. Eric even provided a tour and background history of the property. He made us feel right at home. During our stay, we spent nights relaxing outside by the oversized cozy fire pit, and heard stories of the history of the town of Cape Charles shared by Mr. Hawkins and other guests who had roots in the area. During the day we visited the town and beach, which was a short 2 mile drive from TL. The town was quaint and charming and the beach was clean & beautiful. The entire town was walkable and golf cart accessible. Eric suggested catching the sunset on the beach, which we did and it was absolutely incredible! We met many nice people during our stay, both locals and visitors. I'd absolutely stay at Tiny Livin again and the next time I'll be inviting my friends and family too. This was an amazing, memorable...

So my son and I booked "the barn" last minute to get to Cape Charles the day before our planned fishing trip and not have to wake up early to make the trek. We found the entire property to be one creative and welcoming experience. The rooms were clean (except for one thing noted later) and decorated great. Everything you need is there from wine opener to a hair dryer. Even though it is tiny, it is a fully equipped house. The biggest surprise was the outdoor common area. Starting with a ginormous fire pit with a fully stocked wood rack to the cornhole, dartboard and horsehoes, it was great. A well manicured area for outside dining and event was great. Clearly the owners had a vision for this place and saw it through. It is not a fancy hotel and it is a little rustic but it was a great experience and I would stay there again. One small issue i should mention. My son went to pull out the sofa bed and he found all the sheets and pillows just stuffed into the bottom of the couch. There were signs of use and even. pair of sunglass came tumbling out when we pulled everything out. He did not sleep there so we lost that bed for the night. Hopefully the staff will not overlook that...

My husband and I enjoyed a two night stay here while visiting Cape Charles. This was our first tiny home experience and we loved it! Our house was clean, decorated beautifully, and had everything we needed for the weekend. The kitchen area has utensils, plates, and cups, as well as small appliances, including a coffee pot with coffee grounds available. The greenhouse was so pretty and the outside grounds were very nicely maintained and inviting. Parking was close and convenient. The property is close by to local stores, as well as downtown Cape Charles. We had the privilege of meeting one of the owners, Eric, who was very friendly and kindly shared stories and more history of the property with us, which we were very thankful for during our stay. It's evident how much work, love, and time this couple has put into their tiny homes and this property! We highly recommend staying here and can't wait to return again in the future!
