This is the one review I did not want to write! Why? Because I don’t want everyone flocking over to Tranquility Lakes RV Resort and make it hard for me to get future reservations!!! |We are part time RVrs. We’ve stayed at most Encore/Thousand Trails throughout Florida. We’ve had memorable moments at every park, but Tranquility Lakes is by far the best Thousand Trails/Encore RV Park we’ve stayed at. This is a gated community with a nighttime guard. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The staff is always coordinating day and evening events for families, children’s, and even date nights. All inside the park. No need to drive anywhere else. The main office even has a snack/drinks area with coffee should you not have time to run to the store. You even get FREE wifi, and it works. All of the employees work in sync to make sure we have all our needs met. |The sites are all concrete and very well maintained. There is ample space between sites. Every site is always clean when you check in. Even the dumpster bins and spaces are very clean. Same goes with the laundry rooms. It is not an exaggeration, we try to stay at this RV resort every chance we get. From the clubroom to the pickleball courts, to the pools, they are in excellent shape and always clean. The pools are also very well maintained and ample enough for everyone. The jacuzzi is also very well maintained and clean. The park is just as nice as when they opened up several years ago. The property lake is enormous. The sun sets are to die for (see pics). There is not one thing I can say that needs improvement. The grassy areas and drains are maintained very well; no flooding at the sites. |I can stay here all year around and always feel the same about this Rv resort and their staff. |Big hello to the manager and staff. Looking forward to our...
Read moreTranquility Lakes is now by far our FAVORITE RV park that we’ve stayed at, so much so that our original plan was to stay for only a month, but we extended for another! We are actually very sad to leave, but can say for sure that we’ll back again and decided that this is going to be our go-to park in Florida from now on. I just want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to Jim and Scott in the office- you were our favorite part of the stay and really made it a great experience. Both were incredibly friendly and went out of their way on more than one occasion to make us feel welcome and at home.
The park itself is also one of the most beautiful we’ve seen so far. The lots are angled for an easy back in, well maintained, and spacious with plenty of room between you and your neighbor. We seriously enjoyed and will miss how quiet, peaceful, and DRAMA-FREE the whole park is! I cannot stress the drama-free part enough; we’ve stayed at a lot of parks, most of which have lots of rules and passive aggressive signage all over with staff breathing down your neck when you use the amenities, which always makes us uncomfortable. At this park, we felt like we could actually breathe and were free to enjoy the park without walking on eggshells all the time.
We also loved finally finding a park with a nice laundry room with plenty of machines, as well as a good-sized fitness room. They have two beautifully blue pools- one big one just to lounge in and another smaller lap pool if you enjoy swimming laps in the morning.
If you have a chance to stay at Tranquility Lakes, we seriously encourage you to do so! Every bit of our stay was amazing! Even though we just left, we already can’t...
Read moreTranquility Lakes is a HUGE RV park in Cape Coral, FL. The sites are a good size, paved, and fairly level. The restrooms and laundry rooms are immaculate. They have a large community building where there are activities every day. The reason for my low rating is that the people in the office are not friendly. When we arrived it was late and the main office was closed. The man at the security booth checked us in. He was very nice, but a little disorganized. We had to initial and sign a six page document with all the rules. There was supposed to be a copy of it in the folder we were given, but there wasn't. The next morning, we went to the office to pay the balance of the bill and get a copy of what we signed. We were told, in a very rude manner, that the papers were in our folder. Then he told us to come back Monday and pay as they were too busy. We were able to get a copy of what we signed, but I really did not like the guy's attitude.
They have activities in the community building, as I mentioned, but what they neglect to say it that there is a fee for some of them. We were given a flier for a waffle breakfast and decided to go to it. Nothing was said on the flier about the cost. The waffles were expensive and so we went back to the camper and made our own breakfast. A small note on the fliers stating there is a fee involved would be good.
If we were travelling through and needed a place to stay for the night, I would probably stay there again, but I won't stay there for an extended...
