They don’t have anyone at the front desk all the time but they’re quick to answer the posted phone numbers and the customer service was good. However we had mold on our shower curtain, the tub wasn’t fully caulked to the floor (so I’m sure there was at minimum water damage if not more mold underneath). The linens had holes in it that looked like they might have been burned. There was never any room service so we had to stop by the front desk to ask for extra trash bags and it made me question how clean the rooms really are.

The manager was kind. The flooring was filthy. The hallway smelled like a cat. No breakfast. This property needs to be overhauled. The shower and water pressure was acceptable. This is by far THE WORST experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. DO NOT waste your time or money here. Booking online about a month ago was simple and easy, it stated that it would withdraw the money 48 hours before the reservation, but took the money from my bank 1 week prior to this reservation, not a problem as I planned to still stay here.

Checking in was a nightmare. There were multiple other guests that were angry and standing outside their room with their bags because the room keys wouldn’t work. No one at the desk at all. I waited for 15 minutes, making attempts to yell hello and get someone’s attention but no success. I dialed the number on the desk and got who I assume is the owner. He stated he would drive over now. As I’m on the phone; a lady came and spoke to me from over the upstairs railing. Anyways checking in my room was apparently non accessible but I was quickly assigned a new room. They changed it in the computer, and wrote it down on their paper tracking system. I waked the room, it wasn’t clean but was tidyed up, and was suitable for a quick nights stay post wedding. I left and returned around 10pm. I went to my room and the keys wouldn’t work. I was tapping the card and wiggling the door repetitively when A MAN GROWLED OUT “WRONG ROOM IDIOT”. I double triple checked I was in fact at the correct room that I checked into just a few hours prior.

STEAMING I marched down to the same lady that checked me in. She was unapologetic, and continuously blamed the owners for the mistake. Quite frankly she was unprofessional and should probably quit her job because the owners clearly don’t have a handle on their business and should in no way shape or form be the only employee here. Some how they moved me rooms AFTER I ALREADY CHECKED IN. Now I’m scared, as a woman traveling alone that someone is going to march in my room while I’m sleeping because of thier negligence. Also this room is half the size of the original room, the shower doesn’t work, and thiers no soap. If I could rate this zero stars, I would. I feel like they should be contacting me to issue a partial refund and apologize for the complete negligence on their part. She told me 17 times that if there was something of mine in the room, the guests would have came down and said something immediately. I’m sorry miss but not everyone in this world is honest. It’s completely unacceptable. I’m livid. Worst experience ever. No hospitality at all. I almost broke out in tears after I had to ask the employee to leave my room because I couldn’t listen to her stand in the door way and repeat the same broken record of excuse...

This place was awful . I wouldn’t even give it one star but had to do at least one to continue. I only stayed 1 night , 1 to many . We arrived late 11:00 pm no one was at the desk so we called the number they provided no answer , we went to the room it stated room 128 my boyfriend knocked and no one answered the door was cracked open so he yelled in the room HELLO again no answer. There was 2 gentleman in the laundry room and the 1 guy said hold on she’s sleeping . She comes out in her pajamas no shoes and checked us in. The place smelled of cigarettes throughout , they put us in a room right across from them , the smell was horrific. The room was not clean , it had old blankets from the 70’s the blanket and sheets had burn marks , the shower was filthy and there was NO soap ( not even. A small bar of soap) the fridge was unplugged I plugged it in and by morning our drinks were still warm ( non working fridge) the AC was covered in mold. I couldn’t sleep as I kept feeling bites , That night after leaving That disgusting place I had bites all over my face and arm. ( definitely was bed bugs) when we checked out no one was at the desk. And no Complementary food or coffee( I wouldn’t of ate anything had they had it) The worst stay in my life. I highly WOULD’NT stay at this place if your considering it. I normally would of walked in and walked out but we were heading out for a trip to California the next day and it was close to where family was located before we departed the next day. Sleep in your vehicle before ever stepping foot in this place . It was a nightmare and ruined my trip to California as I needed to wear a long sleeve shirt to hide...

Booked for a one night stay due to being the only hotel closest the venue for a wedding. The day of, a groomsmen was notified that they had rented out rooms for homeless and would be moving all the wedding party to Mariners Village and did not have to cancel reservations as they would be moved to the other hotel. Only the groomsmen was alerted of this change. So we all had stayed at mariners village. When returning home all the guest noticed they had charged us for our room at mariners village and the room at Carlyle inn and suites. Made multiple attempts to have this charge removed. Owner had told other guests it was because mariners was more expensive so that was the difference of price between rooms. That is fraudulent. When quoted for a room you cannot just charge more because you feel the room is worth more. You are charged what you are quoted. The first phone conversation he had said he would call us back and never did. The second conversation he asked if he could call us back and I said no so he hung up. I have disputed the charge and hopefully this man has not stole $177.48 from my account. Terrible customer service. Also when we had called both times he talked over me and he also began talking to another customer in the middle of me talking explaining what happened. Very rude. Will never ever...
