The Cedars Resort — Hotel in Carp Lake Township

We rented here for the 1st time a few weeks ago. The "Birch", the newest and largest cabin was Absolutely beautiful! To wake up in a clean queen size bed with a door wall facing the lake was amazing. We had just lost our dog of 15 yrs a few days prior to staying here and I believe our Angel sent Duke to ease our pain. He was so friendly and comical that we all fell in love with him. He certainly is missed by us! I would highly recommend this resort, very nice owners, cabins spaced graciously apart for privacy, all (3) facing the lake have their own decks (ours was huge) and was the "perfect" get away. Needless to say we have a pretty well stocked freezer of fish caught by my son and husband. I wish we could have spent more than a week. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!Thank you...

Paul and I had a wonderful time at your cabins this summer. The cabins were great, the outdoor area was perfect! I loved your roof top area to view the lake, the boats, the fire ring time in the evenings. The shade trees with our individualized grill and picnic table etc. Of course we loved your dog, Duke. Spent 4 days here in October with friends for a Straits Area color tour. Our cottage was clean and well maintained. Our hosts, Jason & Cindy Eberly couldn't have been nicer. The Cedars is located 10 minutes south of Mackinaw City and is convenient to Wilderness State Park, Mackinac Island, Cross Village, Harbor Springs/ Petoskey, and Cheboygan.
