Really nice campground! Only annoyance the whole time was the flies but that’s to be expected outdoors. Campsite was well maintained and in a very gorgeous setting with a walkable path to rocky lake superior shoreline and a 1-5min drive to any of the bayside sandy beaches. The Presque Isle Campground in Porcupine Mountains State Wilderness Park has the feel of a State Forest Campground for many of the sites. Generator users are confined to one area the campground. Many sights overlook Lake Superior. Heavily forested. Much better campground then the modern facility on the other side of the park, but more isolated and more driving required. Thoroughly enjoyed staying in the East yurt. No power or running water at the yurt but was close to the modern campground bathrooms and water source. Lake Superior is just over the bank offering a great view. Saw the sun rise AND set over the water! Too many waterfalls and other natural beauty to see...
