The park is very neat, clean, and quite BUT the management particularly enjoys being on a power trip. I have lived in two other gated communities, 15 years in a LA/Culver City condo community and 10 years in a SFR community in Inglewood and I have never experienced such a blatant but yet passive aggressive abuse of power. My husband has lived in the park since he was a teenager and has known the management staff for approximately 16 years. His parents, brother, and other family members live in the park. The management is very familiar with us and his family. He is a law enforcement officer and has called management personnel out on targeting our kids for gently playing in the pool, a violation of the park rules which resulted in them being video taped by board members. I personally have been targeted because my car is registered in my mother's name which does not allow me a resident sticker even after being a resident for almost two years. My out of town guest had her rental car towed with no request to move it by anyone due to parking in an unauthorized space that did not restrict anyone's access at 1:30 a.m. because the closest available guest parking (which is limited) was three long streets over. My husband has owned a home in the park for over seven years and has never missed a space payment until last month due to being injured and off work for several months. Unfortunately, this resulted in a late payment of space rent and we received a 3 day notice after rent was past due approximately one week. The management jumped at the chance to serve a three day notice. Although last month's balance was paid and we were brought current, this month's payment is late due to playing catch up. Today is the 20th (less than thirty days) and another three day notice was sent. Do you see a pattern? Management can use discretion if they want to!! Who serves a 3 day notice to pay or quit on an otherwise good tenant that wants to live in peace and doesn't even allow 30 days to pass? Ohhh and as expected it is posted on your door to add insult to injury. If you are seeking to deal with reasonable management personell and reasonable restrictions this is NOT the place. The MANAGEMENT seems to enjoy enforcing overly restrictive rules. To top it all off if you have a dog you cannot walk it in the park....
Read moreI've lived in this park since I was 15 years old with the exception of a few years. I love the central location and that I am close to several family members that live in the park. Unfortunately, there are just those few busy body, unhappy people in management and/or the HOA, etc. that make me and many neighbors feel like we are living under constant trivial scrutiny depending on your ethnicity. For example, one of my neighbor's has a tiny puppy and shared that he has been harassed by certain park security about letting the puppy sit in front of the house. There is a no walking dogs rule but come on. Really!! Recently, my sons reported being called ghetto by an HOA member for splashing in a pool even though park security was present and did not see fit to address the kids. Apparently, there was barely anyone at the pool at 9:00 p.m. on a Sunday Summer night except the mean lady clique. It is clear to me and others that the rules are enforced in a biased and unreasonable manner and mean lady cliques are formed by certain women to target specific homeowners. It is really very sad that some people cannot use their influence and power for good. If you have children or pets, you should consider living in a...
Read moreIncredible views from the pool/clubhouse. Very clean. Landscape caretakers work 6 days a week keeping everything clean and full of flowers. No walking of dogs allowed in the Park, but plenty of grass just down the hill. Pool is always clean but the jaccuzzi is old and is closed for repair more than I like. Management shoots from the hip. You know the rules when you buy a place here. I find all of the residents to be friendly and courteous. Not that you don't see the sheriff from time to time. With over 500 homes and counting, there is bound to be a problem from time to time. But the issues are addressed. Street racing is the only big problem in the area and the police do not seem to have the funding to address the problem. I love my little place and everyone around me. I feel very safe, but check you web page for 'registered sex offenders" in any neighbor...
