Economy Inn — Hotel in Caruthersville

This is a nasty place. I work there just recently. 12 weeks Now he don't to paid. Homeless can break in easy. He accused me of stealing. It wasn't me. I never left this place one time. I was rob in my room. N next day in there house. . I found out the robbery name. This place insecure. I found people got in room to sleep. I was by myself. I couldn't watch everything. I want y'all to know this not place to safe. U have some one be in ur room without knowing that how easy. Roaches all over the place. Sheets n towels n wash rags are so stain up. They wouldn't buy new ones. A business should not put this in a rooms. I saw bugs in the bed. N mold in all places in the motel. Mold not good be in . Harmful. When the owners clean rooms. I came work for 12 weeks. They try clean very well. I got it to shine in each room. Mirror the owners never clean with wind spray. It was so thick u couldn't c ur self in mirrors. I had wash all bed spreads. They was dirty as hell. Seen liked they never wash them. I can't believe a spread hardly wash. Not sanitary. The owners don't care to keep better shape. All they worry about getting paid for this nasty place. U say something to them the owners will...

My first clue was when the receptionist refused to honour my internet reservation price, even when I showed her the confirmation email. Finally, getting a double room with two beds (as reserved) for my daughter and myself, I couldn't get the key in the lock.||||When the receptionist opened the door for us, the first thing I saw was that the television casing was all cracked and broken. The room smelled as though it had been hosed down with air freshener. My daughter said, "Ma, I will NOT stay here!" Just stepping over the threshhold made our skin crawl.||||I immediately turned in the key and demanded return of the paper slip they had run my credit card on. Initially, they had wanted my copy of the receipt.||||We stopped for fuel as we were leaving town and engaged in conversation with a local police officer. Even he said, "Oh no, you do not want to stay there." Apparently, the entire town is very depressed and has had more than double the police calls this year than it has residents.||||It is very rare for me to leave such a negative review, but the conversation with the police officer was the most pleasant experience we had...

I've stayed at this hotel a couple times, only reason to stay at this hotel is the price. Other than that I do NOT recommend the hotel, especially if you have children. There is a lot of drug heads and prostitutes that go there at all times. Most actually live there permanently. It has roaches and last time I stayed it had bed bugs. It is nasty and disgusting and the owners do NOT clean it very well. If you want a bed to sleep in for 25 bucks a night and don't mind roaches and bed bugs and drugs and prostitutes then by all means stay there if that's your thing. If you have any amount of decency go to a different hotel and pay the few extra dollars to sleep in peace without all the nastiness. This is NOT a hotel to take a...
