Fox's Lodge at Oak Pointe — Hotel in Caseville Township

Where do I start? From the hospitality, delicious home cooked breakfast, night snacks including ice cream, board games, beautiful cozy environment inside and out, the safety and security!

It felt like we were visiting family! I had accidentally left behind my wallet with my cash, credit cards, and personal information in it. We had received a missed phone call with a voicemail before we even noticed it was missing! Unfortunately, we had arrived home. Nonetheless, Tracy made sure it was placed in a safe while offering options on how I would want to receive it back. One of them were via express delivery. Went above and beyond and insured the package. When it arrived, it was beautifully double wrapped with a cute fox pattern bag. ♡

The Fox Lodge was such a wonderful stay, very clean, and even more beautiful in person. The soaps in the bathroom smelled amazing. The variety of musky/woody fragrances went perfectly with the cabin feel. They had an ice maker downstairs with an ice cooler in the room. Board games to play in the lobby upstairs and a large library to read from!

We were able to watch the sunrise the next morning after watching a beautiful sunset the night before at Sleepers State Park only 4 minutes away!

The best thing about this place is the couple who live there and run it! They are a very welcoming and friendly family. They make you feel at home. They have a well-behaved dog that greets you at breakfast.

The fruits they served were picked from a nearby garden, as we were told. The blueberry muffins were made from scratch. The orange juice tasted freshly squeezed. The egg muffin omelet was delicious. They were even so kind to ask about any dietary restrictions we had the night before to make sure we enjoyed breakfast. They were very patient with us finishing our meal, being we were the last ones that ate. Nothing went unnoticed. You are all much appreciated.

This place is so cozy and adorable! When my husband and I walked in we were immediately impressed. The decorating is so beautiful and made us feel so at home. We were greeted by Darwin the most well behaved pooch! The staff are so nice and friendly. We left for a while to go to the nearby downtown and when we came back in the evening we played a game of checkers in the little library area that is in an upper level overlooking the whole downstairs. We were greeted by a cat named Twix in the library another well behaved animal which make this place even more inviting. In the guest pantry you can find free water and snacks which was unexpected but a great treat even microwave popcorn if you want you can also use the fridge to keep your items cold. In our room we enjoyed a beautiful lake view and we enjoyed our fire place all night long which made our sleep so peaceful and when we woke up we had the best meal for breakfast which ranged from yogurt and granola, eggs with ham and cheese, homemade muffins/pumpkin bread, the BEST bacon ever and fruit! My husband and I have stayed several places throughout MI and love to stay in places like this which typically range between 300-400 dollars a night we got to stay in this beautiful house with a wonderful breakfast, friendly staff, and super clean environment for 179 dollars!!!! Unheard of I was shocked. Just Book this now you will not regret it ! ...

My wife and I stayed at Fox’s lodge May 21-22 2023 to attend a relatives funeral in Caseville. We are very glad we did. Jerry and Tracy proved to be consummate hosts. The accommodations were clean, roomy and pleasingly decorated. The location was perfect especially considering the lack of quality places to stay in the area. The lodge is quaintly old fashioned with great gathering places as well as quiet areas if that is preferred. The breakfast was presented and served buffet style and was very good. We especially liked the eating area as it allowed us to sit at our own table but socialize easily if there had been any other guests. The price for our stay was quite reasonable considering what hotels/motels would charge. We would gladly stay again and look forward to revisiting the lodge and Jerry and Tracy just to say hello and wish them continued success. Truly the best place we could have hoped for in the Caseville area. All in all a completely enjoyable stay with refreshingly down to earth, hard working proprietors. We frequent the area and will gladly recommend Fox’s Lodge to anyone traveling to the thumb area. A quality experience all the way around. Thank you Jerry and Tracy and hope to see...
