We stayed a month in August in a 30’ trailer. The setting is woodsy which we like. It’s a large campground with mostly seasonals but there are spaces for short-termers, too. There’s a playground, pool, showers & laundry. We didn’t use any of those facilities but we could see the pool & playground from our site & they looked well maintained. It’s a pet-friendly campground with sites that are a nice distance apart. Firewood for sale for personal use & there’s a bonfire every Saturday night, whole campground invited. Wifi is advertised but we found it to be a weak signal even for simple things like checking email or using Google. AT&T signal was 2 bars 5G inside our trailer w/o cell booster. Once we hooked up our cell booster, we got 4 bars 5G. We found it more reliable to use hot spots for connectivity rather than relying on campground Wifi. No issues with power, water or sewer. Owners Tammy & Jerry are helpful. Free brochures in the office for sightseeing trips. Campground is 8 min from Ludlow & VT’s famed route 100. Lots to see & do in VT! We’d go back if we’re ever in the area again. Campground open from May-Oct. check website for details.

I emailed this Canton Place right before a busy 4th of July weekend! The lady who runs it got right back to me and said she had an available spot and I could book over the phone! She took all my info and was very pleasant! On arrival we checked in without issue again the lady was very pleasant the site was nice and private and we loved the fire pit! The only thing that bugged us a bit was the neighbors blaring their music til all hours even when they left their site! We were there for a short period so I didn’t want to complain! Campground had so many activities it was wonderful, and I interacted with the lady/owner multiple times and not once did she have an off day always smiling and personable and seeing how she could help make our stay better. I would book again in a heartbeat and just keep a lookout for the naughty neighbors if they moved in near us again to get ear plugs! Thank you for a wonderful family weekend!

We stayed at Caton Place for a month while visiting Vermont. Beautiful area of the state. Honestly, the whole state is beautiful, though. The majority of the park is seasonal residents, who all take good care of their lot and rig. Everyone was very nice. We were placed in a grassy area with other folks who were not seasonal. These sites were slanted, but not enough where you can't level the rig. Power and water were good. Staff is friendly. Nice playground and pool. We were here in July and a lot of the people decorated their sites for Christmas in July which I thought was hilarious.

I Stayed at Catons Place Campground for the complete summer last year such a awesome place to stay with many events, Including bands, potluck dinners, golf cart, parades, Saturday night, bonfires, and so much more !!! After a hot day camping, they have a beautiful inground pool to get cooled off along with a playground for the children next to the pool also a store where you can find all of your essentials, including firewood for the fire pit and propane , For people that don’t have showers in their campers or renters They have a bathhouse with showers !!!! This place is very reasonable priced and Tammy and Jerry the owners make you feel like you are family soon after meeting them. I hope anybody that sees my post will voyage out this summer and say hello to Tammy and Jerry and let them share their beautiful campsite with...
