5 free nice primitive campsites along the trail. 4 connect to eachother.
Some road noise until 10pm or so. Being on the other side of the parking lot and trail muffled the noise. Not too bad.... Note: the trail is VERY ACTIVE! Thursday morning at 6am people were already walking/riding past and the campsites are close to the trail.
Fairly flat for tent campers. Spot 5 has a pavilion to get out of the rain or to camp in I assume. I didn't see a hammock area (see Boggs Campsite for that)
Free firewood in 2 locations.

Read moreThe trails are beautiful and lots of places to take pictures.... would have given a 5 star but one of the volunteers had the audacity to go into my tent and leave me a note saying I had to leave or my tent would be disposed of ....this while I was walking the trail ..... come back to him telling me it is only a one night stay while right behind him was a sign with the rules stating that it was a two night consecutive maximum stay... i wasnt even there one day yet....other wise everything else is...
Read moreThis trail was amazing! We took our bikes down and back for a total of a 30 mile ride... It was spectacular seeing the bridges, riding through the tunnels, feeling the cool while riding through the shade and feeling the heat when the shade disappeared... It was just lovely....
