First off, before writing my review I looked at a 2024 review and a 2022 review. Needless to say nobody seems to care about this place as nothing has improved. I should of known we were in trouble when their is grass growing up in the cracks of the parking lot and the front door looks like someone took a paint scraper to it. As this was an Army reunion for my husband, hotel rooms were reserved for our group. We had a double queen room. Their was stains on one of the bedspreads. Wallpaper along with some of the sheetrock had been torn away between the beds. Only 1 socket worked where the light was plugged in between the beds. With folks having phones, c pap machines, hearing aids, one needs more then 1 live slot. We had to get a zip strip to plug the above in along with the light because their was only one socket working in the outlet. I went to reduce the A/C and the cover came right out of my hands. The only ice maker that worked was on the 1st floor, the 3rd floor one is out of order and the vending machines are not operating. Also 1 of the 2 water fountains is operational. It states breakfast, but all they had was biscuits and gravy (no sausage for the gravy), some stale corn loaf muffins, orange juice, outdated yogurt and tea & coffee. Go to the huddle house in front of this place and get a much better breakfast. The light over our bathroom mirror flickered constantly and once in awhile it would come on. I said something to the front desk and she said oh yeah, someone complained about that a few months ago. (well wouldn't you think somebody would get it fixed). Also their are lots of water stains on the bathroom ceiling tiles. The internet is sketchy at best, the front desk continually had to reset it and the T.V. would not stay on a program. It kept loading so we eventually said to heck with the T.V. The icing on the cake, was I went to look out our window and it was full of dead house flies. These flies had not been here for a day or two, these flies had been their for months and months and months. My husband and I both went downstairs and told them we wanted someone to come up with a vacuum and (I didn't care if they used windex to sanitize with) clean those up. We showed her pictures. Housekeeping was at walmart and when they got back, the only thing they did was vacuum. Didn't bother to sanitize it. I am not a hotel snob, but I do expect a room to be clean and tidy and looks like someone attended to it. Never ever ever would I stay at this place again. I would stay in...
Read moreThe staff were friendly enough and they were knowledgeable enough to do the job, no problems there. The rooms were a bit of a different story, I nearly walked out the moment I walked in. First the key card didn’t work (I found out it was the door handle and not the card), then I was told to lift the handle up instead on down and it works. The walls were patched and not painted and there were other holes in the other areas that were not patched at all. The bathroom tiles were literally taped to the floor, yes, clear packing taped to the floor (and they missed a few). The bed linens had stains on the comforter, not a lot but clearly looked like something has spilled on them and stained it. The pillows were basically like trying to sleep on a cat. Not any old soft feline no, I’m referring to those hairless Egyptian cats. Bumpy and obviously been used by 100’s or other people over several years.
I’m not at all trying to dis this hotel. It’s in a nice area and should get a manager who will maintain it and bring it back to what was obviously a nice hotel. It looks like they are catering to truck drivers now and not the...
Read moreWe have stayed at this particular hotel a handful of times, not by choice...because it happens to be the only hotel close enough to our family living nearby. This past time was BY FAR the worst. We were greeted by an extremely RUDE clerk who did not believe that we had a reservation EVEN THOUGH we had our confirmation from our online booking site. After flipping through my entire email, she informed us "I guess I will honor it". Then she HUFFED! The complete hotel wreaks of cigarette smoke which made us nervous for our "NON-smoking room". Upon entering our designated room, we both stated that if it wasn't midnight, we would go somewhere else. The walls had random holes, there was a TOTAL of 2 pillows, no bags in the trash cans, the remote would not work properly for the spotty and extremely dated T.V., and the bedding was beyond needing replacement. Upon leaving, we were met by a homeless woman hanging out at the front door... She was nicer than the hotel staff! When planning for future visits, we decided we would rather travel an hour away EVERY DAY than stay at this establishment. If I could give...
