Have been coming since 2008. Always loved the quiet neighborly atmosphere. Until our trip in 2016 in July. Someone played very loud ,very unpleasant music until very late in the night. Not a good night to sleep at all . The park manager use to would not allow this type of behavior . We all like our music. But need to respect that everyone in the park doesn't want to hear yours . Came again in October of 2016 and had a very bad experience with adult campers picking on, chasing and threatening to whip my kids @@@. After their child cussing them and every other camp child at the playground and my 9 year old grandson finally retaliated back with words. Also another adult camper reporting false info on my special needs son. To the manager. Said he was bullying because from a distance she saw him hanging with the smaller children, while I told him and his older sister to stick like glue to my younger 9 year old twin grandchildren and he doesn't fit in with boys his age of 14. He is anything but a bully. As well as the camp manager coming to confront us without the whole story, Then when I explained she brings up another camper claimed my twin grandchildren were begging for food. She said two little boys with a yellow and a red hoodie. My twins are a boy and a "girl" no yellow hoodie in the picture. She judged from seeing my grandson with a red hoodie but hadn't seen my grand daughter. Just assumed. I have to BEG the one who wore the red hoodie to eat most of the time! LOL Lots of adult drama there this time. Not sure I'll go back, especially with my small grandchildren. Too...

Too bad they didn't have any people sized marshmallows. There is a note: if you do decide to do the walking trail between the statues I would suggest you go with a buddy for safety. There's some parts of it that they have chalked out and it's a little bit treacherous. However there's a lovely playground and giant fields to play in and the Forest trail is gorgeous even though the longer stint of it is a...
Read moreLake was very nice and peaceful. The park was well maintained and deer were all over. Small campgrounds...spots very close together, no more than 15 feet apart. Driveways were very long and could fit a truck, boat, camper or tent. There is no side yard at all...your driveway is all you have. A small area at the back of drive with picnic table and fire pit. Although quiet, no privacy...could hear everyone else's conversations. Okay except some long term campers made it seem kind of like a ...
