Shoup Bridge Campground — Hotel in Challis

This site is right outside salmon and just steps away from the river. Unfortunately its also just a few steps away from a very busy 65 mph road. There are about 6 sites 4 suitable for a rv 2 only suitable for tents. 5 bucks a night 14 day camping limit first come first serve. All sites are very small. Some have a metal fire ring some have those useless bbqs you see in parks. I think all sites have a picnic table. There is ramp access to the river. Pit toilets were reasonably clean and kept up. A bit closer to the highway than most campsites, but paved parking and around the tables, green grass and right next to the river. $5 for the night, vault toilets with potable water available. Highway traffic wasn't bad and after being on the bike all day a place to sit and unwind was a great break. Nice NRA campground on Salmon River. $15 per night but using the America the beautiful pass it was $7.50 per night. NHU's but I did see a fresh water pump.
