The Delacroix Lodge — Hotel in Chalmette

We fished in Delacroix this past weekend and this was our second year in a row we have stayed at Delacroix Lodge. The cabins are spacious and clean and stocked with everything needed. The staff are super friendly and are only a phone call away if you need anything. If you are expecting nightly turn down service, breakfast in bed, a mini bar, room service, or a whirlpool tub, this is not the place for you. If you are expecting a clean, comfortable, spacious room with all the comforts of a home-away-from-home, this is definitely the place for you. Was just there on March 2nd 2025 with my son as we were doing a fishing trip nearby and needed a place to stay for 1 night. While you definitely get the feeling that the "Gators" are watching you as you drive the road into the lodge, it was a gigantic shock once we opened the door to our Cabin ( Tiny Home!) . My son and I made the trip over from Pensacola and stayed at Delacroix Lodge for three nights. I highly recommend Delacroix Lodge. This past trip the the third time in the last five years that we have stayed there and every single time it has been a great experience. The cabin was very clean and every thing that we needed was provided. The communication from the Lodge was clear and helpful.
