Cedar Valley Resort, Mammoth Spring, Ark — Hotel in Cherokee Village

Honestly was not impressed by any means. When we got to the cabin it had a nasty odor like a dead mouse. We ended up getting some room spray just to try to ignore it, random food left in the cabinets, fridge and freezer. I think y’all meant well, but I don’t want to use someone’s else’s used groceries. Sheets were nasty and so were the pillow cases and mats in the bathroom, AC units had mold and so did the blinds. Water from the sink was nasty, and the shower head was clogged and there was mold and nasty ness around the shower floor. Overall just expected a lot more from this cabin. Very disappointing. And the price was RIDICULOUS for one night...

The cabin we stayed in was clean and had everything we needed. The grounds were super clean. Chris met us at the campground soon after we arrived and treated us with so much kindness that it put me at ease. The only thing that could have made this camping trip better would be to cleaner bathrooms...that's why 4 instead of 5 stars. Campground was great! Very clean and well kept. The cabin was just what we needed. Used the community bathhouse. The river trip was great! Very beautiful. Chris and his wife were very friendly and very accommodating. Will stay with Cedar Valley again when I come up with way. Very fair prices. Great...
