Cherry Ridge Campsites & Lodging, Inc. — Hotel in Cherry Ridge Township

I was here for the Cherry Ridge Carving Roundup and had a great time!! Our site was grassy, level and the campground was quiet. We loved that they served food so we didn't have to do any cooking and the prices were very reasonable. They have 2 large halls for dancing or events. You can swim in the lake, sit in the pavilion or wooden swing overlooking the water or rent a rowboat. Expect a bit of dry humor from the host, Al! He's a great guy.

If you're into wood carving or wood burning or just want to try something new, I highly recommend the Roundup. I learned so much and I only had to buy my materials, which were reasonably priced. Everyone was so helpful and answered my newbie questions with patience. They had so many classes and workshops that I wasn't able to do everything, so I have to go back next year!! Love this campground! Clean bathrooms and showers. Great to walk around! Cherry Ridge grounds are well manicured. People are friendly. You can swim in the lake and fish. They have a quaint little store which they serve breakfast from (at least on the weekends not sure about weekdays) and the owners are funtastic! They'll deliver firewood to your campsites and come around on their golf carts just to see if everyone is doing okay. My family stayed for a month. Here are the pros of this campsite - located conveniently between Honesdale and Waymart, very quiet, has a lake that you can fish and swimming area, they have breakfast, lunch and dinner options on weekends with a limited menu. The cons: rv spots are grass and mud, the place is extremely packed on weekends due to the dance lessons, there is a laundry facility (overpriced and outdated).
