Really wonderful staff! Marianne was so warm and gave such a wonderful welcome and help throughout the stay. The food was good and the kitchen staff was so wonderful. They also had space heaters, fans (for those who like white noise!), plenty of towels, etc. They thought of everything! I loved that the rooms had bathtubs b/c it was so nice to soak after a walk in the woods. For me the highlight was the woods/hiking behind the property. It was so beautiful! There is a hike to the reservoir which is quite lovely, but best to do it with a guide. Lovely stay, I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a warm and cozy place to have a retreat.

My wife was here for a retreat and I was there to tag along. The communication between the organization and here was absolutely terrible! And to be charged almost $800 for a room and food for my wife and I for three nights is absolutely ridiculous! And Mary Anne at the front desk was very rude to me about the whole situation and said that she thought we were going to leave without paying! How dare you assume that about us! We are not that kind of people! And I complained about the really loud construction that was going on right by our room and she just gave me a look like oh well. No apology or anything. Not happy at all! The good things are the convenience of staying at the place where the retreat was at and the food was good (just wish there was more variety of food at each meal) I told Mary Anne that one of the lunches the choices were turkey chili or vegan chili and the dinner that night was blackened fish. We don’t like chili and can’t do the spicy of the blackened fish and ended up going out to get food from somewhere else. I told Mary Anne this and she said that we could of talked to the chef, they have pieces of fish that aren’t blackened. It would of been nice if they had told us this. Just feel like we were talked to and treated very poorly about the situations and it seemed like they didn’t care. Not...

Horrible experience! Contracted Covid and became very ill - managent forced me to leave facility immediately despite having high fever and no where to go, thousands of miles from home. They refused to tefund ANY portion of the $3000 paid for room and lodging/conference and refused to allow me to quarantine in my room until well enough to travel. Even had the nerve to rebuke the trip organizer for bringing me food to my room stating they were concerned about spills. Really???? How unbelievably heartless are these people??? They stated concern for their staff being exposed to Covid as their reason for kicking me out - yet they forced me to expose countless others including my uber driver, hotel clerks, restaraunt workers etc who were members of their community "just as long as its not us". I have never been treated so horribly in my life, particularly at a time when i was at my most vulnerable. Be very very careful if u plan to stay here or better yet, find some.place else to stay! And by the way, the rooms look like they are straight out of motel 6, the beds are rock hard and the pillows are flat as pancakes. I slept better at the...

I was in room 110 and it was disappointing to say the least— The room is attached to another room with a door separating them from the inside. The room is not cute, neglected. The bed has no headboard, just an old mattress that they threw there with some ripped sheets. Not presentable at all, really bad— Also the mattress is right under the vent. You put heat on, hot air is on you— You put ac cold hair directly onto you. So disappointing. I got sick the first night so I had to shut down ac or heat so I don’t get sick the next night. I spent almost $600 for a private room and this is what I dealt with. I should have taken some pictures— Shame on you guys— maybe room 110 should not be for guests— the door attached to another room also creeps me out— What happened you cashed out on a staff rest room??...
