Independence Inn — Hotel in Chester

I'm not really a person who only uses one or five stars for everything. I was trying to think how I could justify two stars but I couldn't do it. The room had 30 flies in it and they gave us a flyswatter and later a vacuum to get rid of all the flies. There was a dirty towel but I can only speculate on the source of all the flies. Maybe the flies were attracted by the smell from the trashcan right outside the room. The beds seemed ok and the fact that it is a standard shower with a curtain and the bathroom door doesn't close seem insignificant compared...

Room was slightly dirty when we arrived. Stayed for 2 weeks. No service for first 4 or 5 days. When we left we did the dishes and picked up our garbage. Almost 2 weeks after we checked out they called me and said they had just cleaned the room and there would be a cleaning fee of 100$ becouse the maid had to clean so hard every day and it was so dirty when we left. THE ROOM WAS NEVER CLEANED ONCE BY THE MAID WHILE WE STAYED ONLY THE BEDS WERE MADE. WE LEFT THE ROOM IN A REASONABLE CONDITION. I WILL NOT PAY 100$ FOR THE MAID...
