Scioto Trail State Park Campground — Hotel in Chillicothe

Great Campground, great camp office staff. Although I regretfully didn't catch her name, the lady who runs the camp office sets the bar really high. We've camped all over Ohio at state parks and no office staff's service level comes even remotely close to her service level. She is beyond helpful. The campground itself is really awesome. Scioto Trail State Park is a good place to camp and let loose ( within reason). Quite camp ground with respectful campers. Very peaceful not very busy like the other state parks. Very accommodating with space and amenities. Options include full hook up to primitive camping. Very scenic views and trails. Only complaint is trying to find a map/guide book of the trails but Oh well. Just means you have to explore. Trail heads are marked...

Very accommodating staff. Nice campground! Would be 5 stars if cell service was better. I guess what can you expect when you're camping in the boondocks? Part of the reason I went there! When you're camping alone though, kinda nice to hunker down in your hammock and enjoy some Netflix action!
