The campground is ok. We had to leave the place we camp host at because of a hurricane. Glad to find a place that did not brake the bank. The bathrooms were ok but not great. The ground were clean enough. Some spaces are very close to each other. While there many of the trial where closed due to work on the lake. This spot is great for a stop over or weekend stop but not much more. The staff is rude and unprofessional. We had three contacts with staff and all where bad. Two of them unnecessary. As camp host we follow rules and try very hard to be the kind of camper we want. While walking around a host stopped my husband and I to very rudely tell us the trial 200 yards away from us was closed. We told her we saw the signs and had no plans on going down there. Only for her to do this to me the next day while I was walking my dogs. A heavy rain moved in unexpectedly and I had to shelter under a sign, no where near the closed area. Then as we left we stopped to use the dump station. Another camp host was sitting outside, we asked if the station was full because it looked full, he just walked inside his rv and would not talk with us. We will not go back after the...

Falling waters park was such a nice n relaxing place to visit. They have a couple of different angles of heights, you can view the waterfall from. What a beautiful waterfall, its either 74 or 75ft tall, the falls. Beautiful scenery around, its cool to look into the bottom of the falls. very nice balcony right in front of the falls n another one right above it. Loved the yellow boardwalk that you can walk around the falls. There is a small stream or creak leading to a nice pretty lake n beach area they have. it was rainy the day I went but such nice cool crisp air it was great. Well kept park. You have the stream that runs on one side of the boardwalk n on the other is the forest area which was really great to walk through. Nice picnic area by the little beach. Also a playground area as well. About $5 to get in the park, I think they have some trails too. They had about 4 or 5 different sinkholes as well which were interesting to see. Had a great time,...

Not real happy about the lack of sanitation in the bathroom/bathhouse at Falling Waters State Park.

We informed people at the front gate 2 days in a row about issues in the womens bathroom. Either the staff doesn't care or this facility doesn't have the resources to properly respond to guest sanitation concerns.

The reason my family always books camping reservations with registered state parks is because we know the level of service, safety, and sanitation is always top-tier. Disappointing that we experienced less at Falling Waters.

Please see attached pictures of clogged/overflowing shower drain (disgusting!) Keep in mind, there are only 2 showers to begin with. And no hand soap in the dispenser for the last 2 days of our trip.

Overall, Falling Waters is a BEAUTIFUL, quiet little park with nature all around. (Site 24) neighbors pure wilderness on one side and only a single camper pad on the other, then...

Afternoon trip to Florida’s highest waterfall! Thought it would be flowing better from all the rain. Still amazing to see! . “Falling Waters Sink is a 100-foot-deep, 20-foot-wide cylindrical pit into which flows a small stream that drops 73 feet to the bottom of the sink. The water’s final destination is unknown.” . . . #florida #fallingwatersstatepark #chipleyflorida #floridatourism #waterfall #rainyday #floridalife #panamacity #defuniaksprings #northwestflorida #nwflorida #nature #getoutside

This place was spectacular. What a beautiful state park! This 100ft sinkhole with a waterfall!!! And they say it will continue to get taller as the water keeps eroding the limestone. A must see if FL 💚 #blessed #godscreation #waterfall #florida #travel #fyp #nature #outdoors #adventure #hiking #floridagirl #wildlife #cave #sinkhole #floridasprings #fallingwaters #floridastateparks #blonde #fitness #floridalife

We were disappointed to say the least, but it’s nice knowing that Florida has a waterfall. We just knew it was going to put Oregon to shame 😂😅 At 73 feet tall, the water flows into a deep sinkhole, which is different than your typical flat terrain in Florida. The waterfall gets larger with rain and during rainy season, but as you can see during periods of dryness, it completely disappears. Outside of the waterfall, Falling Waters State Park is an exciting destination for nature lovers. There are 12 sinkholes, a butterfly garden, and hiking trails for all to enjoy. Definitely a must visit if you’re ever in the North Florida area, but make sure to visit after it has rained. Don’t end up like us! 😂 #travelcouple #outdoorcouple #outdoorsycouple #outdoorsyblackwomen #blacklesbiancouples #lesbiancouple #diversifyoutdoors #florida #travelflorida #lovefl #floridablogger #orlandoblogger #northflorida #fallingwatersstatepark
