Fox Creek Inn VT — Hotel in Chittenden

The husband and wife who own Fox Creek Inn are two of the kindest people I've ever met. For my boyfriend and I, talking to them was a highlight of our trip. They served breakfast and dinner in the most charming dining room at the inn. Every meal was delicious, but my favorite had to be one of the many varieties of homemade muffins each morning for breakfast. Staying here even included a brown paper bag lunch, which was so convenient for a long day skiing. We got to customize our own trail mix to go with your choice of sandwich, fruit, and dessert. Everything we ate was homemade with care and the experience was so personal. When staying at the Fox Creek Inn, be prepared to be treated like royalty, while also feeling completely at home. Our room was beautiful and clean, but the fireplace is most memorable. We loved sitting by the fireplace every evening with a hot chocolate from the dining room downstairs. It was so warm and cozy. The location is stunning and very close to nearby skiing. I visited in the winter, but cannot wait to come back to see what the area has to offer...

Rita & Corey were Mom & Dad to my boyfriend and I the moment we pulled into the winter wonderland picturesque inn. Rita showed us the entire inn as we were the only ones staying there that weekend and talked us through the history of the Fox Creek Inn as well as all the unique rooms they have on the property. We had dinner served to us and it was phenomenal. In the morning, Corey made his signature omelets and fruit bowls. Rita was kind enough to make us to go lunches for us to take on our snowmobiling tour. Finally, Rita arranged for my date and I to get shuttled to the Mountaintop Resort for my girlfriends wedding which was about a 5 minute drive tops. The room was perfect with a little electric fire place that made the stay an amazing experience for us. Beautiful setting, great location, accommodating & friendly owners! If that is not enough- home cooked, delicious dinner & breakfast is INCLUDED!! We have stayed at many B&B's & have never had dinner included & breakfast is usually continental these days. It is obvious that Rita & Corey enjoy cooking & baking. Dinner included: homemade soup, fresh vegetable medley, chicken cordon bleu, rice pilaf, & a special homemade dessert! All delicious! Breakfast started with an amazing fruit cup of FRESH FRUIT that Corey enjoys cutting into small pieces . There were a choice of many different homemade muffins- delicious, omelettes made to order, home fries, bacon, toast. WOW! This Inn is so comfortable with a few common areas, fireplaces.
