What a wonderful campground! I never would have picked it from a map because it looks to be right off the road, but you go down a bit and the river noise drowns out the road. We ran out of water and our campground hosts were SO helpful and let us use their jugs, etc. There are a few FCFS spots that aren’t on the river but still have a good chunk of land. Small campground, open sites with sparse trees, so if you want to avoid getting to know your fellow campers you’re out of luck. Best views of mountains at 4 of the sites...you get to walk 20 feet from your picnic table and you’re at the lake. So that’s really cool. But-no privacy and not a woodsy...
