I was so annoyed a few times staying here at Easton RV Resort. The clubhouse where the ping pong table, phooze ball, and pool table are closed down when the office closes! How is this a resort? Closed twice during the week, and closes three times a week at 3pm and 5 pm on the weekends, which is insane... the day we arrived, it was closed the wholeday!!!! The worst was the laundry room. This is why I actually felt the urge to do a review... there were huge spider webs at the front of the door that hit me in the face, I was too busy carrying my laundry to notice until feeling them! Yuck! The washing machines were gross, so filthy, not only dirt from a day or two here, but deep dirt in the corners, see my pictures of the dryer filters that I ran scorching hot water over, and it was still grimy and black. I used a whole new package of 100 baby wipes to clean 2 washing machines and one dryer. The sink was so dirty as well! There are no signs that restrict washing pet bedding at all, like at other RV parks, just a sign that states DO NOT WASH DISHES IN THIS SINK. In the pictures, you'll see why no sane person would want to. Cliff, the male employee, is nice enough, I do not know whose job it is to clean, but this place needs a bleach power wash 4 times a week, at least on a normal basis, and log it! I'm so disgusted, and I'm also allergic to dogs. The floor looks like it's never been cleaned, not ever... I was paranoid to drop something with all the dog hair everywhere. The garbage pail is 3/4 full, and it's a large one. I'm annoyed that on this beautiful sunny Saturday morning, I was busy cleaning and scrubbing their filthy machines, machines that are meant to CLEAN cloths! Also the sites are long, they told us their smaller sites were full, the female employee called us back after making the reservation, to say that the small sites were booked up??? Daaa? After we booked it?....ofcourse it cost more money! This RV park was not even half full on a Saturday at 9:00 pm. I did call and complain about the laundry room filth, and the female that answered the phone said, she'll pass it on. I said that doesn't satisfy me. She apologized and said again that she'll pass on my complaint. As well, there's no grass here, no landscaping, just weeds, and weed trees growing, not like the Lake Sawyer RV sister resort. We'd never come back here! Mostly because no one addressed my complaint, not even days later, my husband spoke to Cliff and he poo pood it....I don't like when a complaint doesn't get addressed, and we're taken advantage of with a bigger site for more money, while not fully booked! As far as I'm concerned, someone here needs some education on etiquette and health hazards here. The standards are very low here. The garbage pails in the bathrooms today were full to the top, gross....The thank you email was strange, it didn't mention my complaint, and my email reply was not addressed as well. I waited a solid week to leave this bad review, I cc'd Lake Sawyer rv resort, as well. I will also do a Google review! Joanne Fernandez

WHO WANTS A BOOK FOR A REVIEW? We have stayed here quite a few times and when we do stay, we bring a crowd with us, normally 4-5 camp sites. Every time we stay the "manager" Cliff gets to be more and more like a Karen. When we first pulled in he said "only one vehicle per campsite. I looked at his campsite and he has two vehicles there and I asked" why do you get to have 2 on yours if it says one per campsite in the handbook? " he said cause he was the manager and no one has called him out on it. WOW THEN... We were playing country music on Pandora on our speaker and he told me I had to turn it down, but then I instructed that in his handbook that there is not a DB reading and quiet hours were from 10pm to 8 am and it was 6pm and I didn't have to turn it down until quiet hours. He told me I was right and left. Later one person from our group had to use the clubhouse bathroom since it is right by the pool and was told that she needed to dry off completely since he "didn't feel like mopping up the floor", even though it is right next to the pool and kids were running back and forth from the bathroom to the pool. One from my party heard them talking in the office through the bathroom wall that they were going to send anyone complaining about our country music on the speaker to our campsite and have them "handle it." Then he decided to flash his pistol at me and said "this is why i wear long shirts so I can carry." and then he tells me that he has 3 rooms in his camper and that there is a gun in every room. BUT in the "rule book" you aren't allowed to carry even though I am a law abiding citizen who just retired out of the Army after serving 20 years. So what gives him the right to carry when no one else is supposed to? He told me that the owners were upset cause they "we down on revenue." Well when one party brings 4 other campsites in from July 3rd to July 7th and we get treated like this, we won't be coming back and you just lost out on 5 campsites revenue. Cliff you may need to read your Google reviews and see what all of them have in common, You!!!!! Maybe the owners should think about hiring new "managers." If you are thinking about staying here, stay at the state park or go up the road on 90. There are WAY better places to stay that don't have a "manger" like Cliff!

Easton Wa. Seems like a sweet little town. As for this resort, buyer beware! A regular " CABIN IN THE WOODS". Due to a series of unfortunate events, I ended up in Easton at 9:30pm with a dead phone. The "hotel" I had formerly stayed at, had unfortunately closed its room renting business. I Talked to a local & got some vague information. Tried to find my way into the Lake Easton RV Resort, but due to dark & lack of lighting, could not figure out their gate entry -system. I rode over to the Shell station, they had the doors locked doing closing procedures & made me wait 30 minutes to talk to me- 2 minutes. Told me to go back to The Lake Easton Resort- only option. By now its 10:15-30pm, so I go back the half a mile. Wandering around until i figured out where everthing is, a & knock on the after hours door. Despite the fact that they had at least a half a dozen cabins available, & It was clearly an unusually difficult situation, The manager was extremely resistant & frankly, almost insulting. apparently they've had a lot of difficulties & the fellow was very aggressive from the first word. After a lot of begging & pleading he consented to rent me one of the cabins for one night for 130$. While they had two lovely beds no bedding is provided, which i agreed to. However a complete kitchen is . The facilities were lovely& quite quaint. However the hostile attitude & continuous reminders of check out time then & again in the morning, were a bit shocking in a civilized society. In the morning, He came & checked on me, not once, but two times to make sure I was departing imminently & @ Exactly 5 minutes past 11am as I was moving my bike gear etal out to the picnic table in front of my cabin, he actually threatened- utterly unnecessarily to call the local law enforcement. Shocked is not a strong enough word. Maybe He & His wife need their own vacation.

We chose this place to hold a small family reunion, and we were pretty disappointed. When we checked in we were given a spot away from the rest of our family's spots, even though we booked a premium tier spot. We mentioned that we saw a spot open that was only 1 spot away from the rest of our entire family, but were told we wouldn't be able to move to it as it was reserved for someone else. Why they wouldnt put us with our whole family is beyond me, but we understand things can happen so we decided to just make it work. Well, that open spot stayed open for our entire stay, making the separation unnecessary and frustrating.

The pool is a featured amenity and it was falling apart. It was really gross with a thick layer of muck on the bottom, and broken tiles all over that sliced open one of my kids' toes. The septic dump, propane fill up, and garbage dumpsters are all right next to the pool AND a lot of the premium camp spots, and it smells BAD. The pool itself also has no dedicated bathroom area, but is right next to the clubhouse and the bathrooms inside there. My daughter had to use the bathroom and was taken into there as all other bathroom options were too far away, and then later someone else in our family was told to tell everyone that nobody can use those main bathrooms coming from the pool as "he just cleaned them that morning." The next nearest set of bathrooms available to campers is on the other side of the campground, by the way. It makes no sense to have a set of bathrooms next to the pool that pool-goers are unable to use. I should also mention that throughout the rest of our stay, this man was nitpicky in general to everyone I saw him speak to.

The dumpster and septic dump also draw a lot of yellow jackets, which were heavily an issue for this trip. It made having family meals outside of our RVs an issue, and we had to go and buy several traps to help control the issue. I know that's not completely their fault, but they had nothing out to help whatsoever. Guests should not have to go buy their own traps.

As we usually are a larger group of roughly 50+ people for our yearly reunion, we were scouting this campground as a possible option for next year, but it's going to be a definite no from us. We have stayed at the RV park across the freeway from here (Silver Ridge) twice previously which is what led us to checking this place out, but I would have to say that they are better over there with less amenities and hookups.

Another thing I should mention, though it wasn't necessarily a deterrent for our group, is that there is a lot of noise coming from the freeway. As I've mentioned we have stayed on the other side of the freeway, but it is not noisy like this over there. This didn't bother us, but could be bothersome for others.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place. The pool is gross, the manager is rude, the grounds are not kept up, and it smells...

Not going to lie I was scared to go to this campground with all the negative reviews. This place was perfectly fine. It’s a campground people if you want the Hilton then go stay there. This is a perfectly good campground. We had full hook up and everything was perfect and the staff was amazing and so friendly. ||The fact people get on here and complain about things out of the managers hands are ridiculous. Also it should be said you will get the attitude and/or respect from the management that you give them. If you’re rude and nasty and complain over things they cannot change you will be met with the same attitude. Maybe try being respectful and courteous instead of demanding and rude. ||Is there dirt sites, yes yes there are and for the most part it is dirt. Do the speed limit and you’ll be fine. We saw Cliff water the roads plenty while we were there it is what it is, if you don’t like it then leave rather than bashing a hard working person for your dislikes. ||Yes there is noise from the interstate once again out of the managers control as I-90 was there long before the resort and also you get just as much at the state campground which is where some of our family stayed. ||I didn’t check for internet or WiFi as our phones had full service, if you want to sit and watch TV or play on a computer then go to a freaking hotel, when you’re camping and relaxing in nature that shouldn’t be important or the number one issue. ||We will be going back more than likely during my hunting season as it is super close to the area I get to hunt in and why waste a crap ton of money to stay at a hotel when I can use our travel trailer since we will be out in nature not whining and complaining that the city amenities aren’t available. If you can’t handle some dirt and no WiFi (although there may have been WiFi we just didn’t check or need it) then don’t go camping. If you want to be a cranky keyboard warrior then stay in your precious glass house where the world is perfect, if you want to camp and enjoy the outdoors this place is perfectly fine. Heck there are places to camp that are way worse than this place that have zero amenities. There are showers, a laundry area, a pool, a small clubhouse, and bathrooms all on the property. There’s a little store across the highway along with a couple coffee shops and a burger place. We couldn’t have been more happy...
