I’m here now. For being as far out in the wilderness as it is, I still seem to have intermittent cell service. The camping is un-maintained but the toilet is still serviced and kept very clean. The road is rough in places and a higher clearance vehicle is advisable but I’ve seen regular passenger vehicles here as well. Bring water. It is a bit windy now but not unbearable. There are lots of people here but camping is spread out. I agree with a previous review, this must have been some sort of campground in years gone by but the surrounding forest appears to have entirely succumbed to a fire about ten years ago so that may have prompted its abandonment.
