Overall we had a good experience and enjoyed our stay. There is nothing that would keep me from coming here, but it is not a place that I would choose again. The location is fantastic. A fast and easy drive into Cle Elum, far enough away from everything else to have seclusion (except from the caretaker), and a wonderful mix of flora and fauna. The facility has a good layout with lots of amenities. Clearly it is well suited for catering and hosting moderate sized groups of people who will share rooms (probably ideal for a wedding). However much of the infrastructure has not been refurbished as needed and there are many things that are no longer working, not working properly, not modern enough to be relevant, etc. For some examples in no particular order, beds were torture devices, outside dishwasher did not function, main sink faucet was nearly impossible to get to a usable temperature, shower heads were mineralized/damaged, digital projector only took VGA and no adapters existed, chipmunks in the main house, creaky cabin floors (to an unreasonable level, its a cabin, some is expected, this was comical), pipes (cabins) that make rocket engine noises when being used, nothing on the kitchen shelves was properly clean (literally every dish, pot and pan had to be cleaned before we used them), and probably a few more random trivial things that I am not remembering. One other thing that stood out to me was that the caretaker was often around working on things while we were there and often was there early morning which in at least one case woke me up (gas powered cart, its not quiet), which wasn't a huge deal, but does detract. The other thing that bothered us was the use of chemical sprays on the lawns and other facilities of the property like the horse shoe and volleyball courts. We opted to not use any of the outdoor lawn areas because they were being sprayed while we were there. Now that being said, the caretaker was extremely nice and helpful, we very much so liked him. He clearly wanted to help solve any issues we might have and what not, but at the same time was just the caretaker and not the owner who I assume would be needed for things like replacing fixtures, beds, etc.

We've gone every year for the last 7 years for a family reunion and to celebrate my grandma's birthdays! We have so much fun and it's perfect size for our large family. The rooms are always clean and beds are comfortable. They use Costco brand Shampoo and conditioner. The main Lodge has a nice size TV, pool table comfortable couches and chairs, it's very spacious and we never feel like we're over crowded. We love the long table so we can all sit around it as a family. They have every dish/utensil imaginable. The outdoor kitchen is great too and the propane heater lamps have allowed us to watch many super bowls inside and outside for those of us who can't cheer loudly. There's lots of space for sledding and they even have sleds available for us to use and of course the hot tub is an added bonus. We go in the winter but they also have a pool I'm guessing is available in summer. I love this place and so does my family. I highly recommend that you choose this place. But please remember to keep it cleaner than you got it because it's not fun or easy for them to replace items that people are careless with. Great place for family reunions, weddings especially cuz family can stay there from it of town, business retreats, etc.

We had the most wonderful weekend at the Huntley Lodge for our wedding on 8/26. It was very spacious, had beautiful views, and a lovely hot tub for relaxing in the evening! Drew, the caretaker who lives nearby, was very kind and attentive to any of our needs! We appreciated his care in helping make our wedding special. We were able to use the Bluetooth speakers on the outside patio for ceremony/reception music. Unfortunately there was a neighbor who decided to shoot their guns off repetitively during our first dances, but otherwise had no issues with folks in the area. There are pretty white string lights hanging along the border of the patio as well as lights on the lodge itself, and colorful lights on the outdoor patio kitchen area. The bar area was great, and there is an ice machine located in the lodge! Would stay here again!
