My family has been going here every year for the past 15 years. We take a vacation every June with friends and totally fill the resort. It is a great place to hold reunions. We have fed as many as 70 at the Picnic Pavilion with people from Dallas just stopping in for the day. This is a perfect meeting place for my extended family who are in East Texas and Houston and us in Lubbock so we have had many Easter Egg hunts here. Spring and Fall are great times to sit outside and just relax and visit. There are four units that can hold my family of six and the larger units have a large enough kitchen to cook a family meal. If we have something going on in Dallas, we almost always choose to stay here so we can enjoy the quite after a day in the Big D. As we come here frequently, we had stayed in almost every unit including camping in the RV sites which has a very nice private shower. We love the recently remodeled pool and enjoy relaxing in it when not on the river with our boat. We come no matter what the water level is as the owners can always find us a place where we can unload our boat and there is always plenty of water to enjoy once you get on the river. This resort is older, but the owners are constantly making improvements and it is always extremely clean. We prefer the rustic, relaxing atmosphere. The handy store has books and games to borrow and that sunscreen or hat you...

My wife had grown up on the Brazos river skiing and suggested we check out Indian Lodge. As a New Yorker, I hadn’t been out much to the “country” and was totally down to see what it was like. When we got there I was in total awe of the beauty of the property. I was so excited to finally be out of the city and really soak up everything. There are boat slips where you can keep your boat overnight and a really nice ramp that’s easy to get in and out of. Clayton and Jamie have been nothing short of amazing and were there for us when we had a bit of boat trouble on our ‘07 Supra. As new bot owners, it was really comforting to know that they were there to lend a hand or advice when it was needed. They have also been amazing hosts. The rooms themselves are always super clean so you know you can really relax after a nice long day on the river. We even got the chance to stay in one of their newly renovated rooms and it was really nice! All in all we’re grateful to have rediscovered Indian Lodge and it’s a great way to escape the city life. Very quiet, extremely safe and just all around excellent vibes. We’re excited to continue coming here every week during the summer season and making new...
