The Ocoee River itself is a breathtaking backdrop for an unforgettable day. The crystal-clear waters and stunning scenery are just the beginning. Our guide was not only skilled but also made the trip fun with their infectious enthusiasm and deep understanding of the river's rapids. They expertly navigated us through the thrilling Class III and IV rapids, ensuring we felt safe while still getting our adrenaline pumping!
What truly sets Big Frog apart is their commitment to customer experience. They provided all the necessary gear, including high-quality life jackets and helmets, and took the time to teach us the basics of rafting before we hit the water. The safety briefing was thorough, and it was evident that they prioritize the well-being of their guests.
The tour itself was perfectly paced, with just the right blend of excitement and relaxation. We had ample opportunities to take in the stunning views, snap some photos, and even take a refreshing dip in the river. The camaraderie among our group was fantastic, and it felt like we were all part of one big adventure. Overall, Big Frog Rafting Tours exceeded all expectations and delivered an unforgettable experience. Whether you're a seasoned rafter or a first-timer, this is an adventure you don't want to miss. Read moreMy family and I booked a trip there to spend time there together before my cancer surgery and treatment beginw. My son and I volunteered to be on a raft that had only 3 rafters because another guide was pleading for volunteers so it would be easier for them to handle the raft. I wished I had stayed with my family rather be on a raft with a guide who was a condescending jerk. He spoke to me and the other female on the raft like we were toddlers. Accused us of trying to kill the other rafters...one who was my son that he kept saying was my mans (very unprofessional)...He threatened to take my oar when I fell and let go of it. If I didn't let go of it it would have smacked the girl in the face. Not only two minutes after he scolded me like a toddler he let go of his oar and it flew up to the front and it almost hit my son. It was obvious not only to me but the young girl sitting next to me looked at me and stated "I don't think he likes women". For my first time white water rafting this was a horrible experience. I should have never of volunteered to be away from my family, but since I am an empathetic person I volunteered. I will never come back to this place. Your guide Alexander made my experience one that I would...
Read moreIn august of 2020 we had a traumatic experience with big frog while rafting the full Ocoee. My husband (a trained swimmer) and I literally thought we were going to drown after hitting the upper Ocoee with an inexperienced raft guide. I previously had a decent experience rafting the lower Ocoee with big frog and was excited to do so again, however after this experience I would never recommend this company to anyone. I’m not exaggerating when I say that my ankle has not been the same and I’ve spent countless dollars on ER fees, ortho visits, rehab etc and I’m extremely hesitant to participate in any water sports. After the raft tipped and we (finally) made it to shore, they essentially forced us to get back on the raft to finish the ride down the Ocoee. I spent two+ hours with a broken ankle, terrified we would tip and i would have to experience drowning again. Needless to say it was a traumatic experience and we still talk about it to this day (it’s been three years annd I’m writing this review…obviously we were scarred). I would literally recommend any rafting guide over big frog. I am an active runner, hiker, kayaker etc. I know you sign a waiver prior to the ride but it isn’t worth it…just pick...
