This is the second time we had stayed here and we will be coming back in the future. We used to go to somewhere else in town but wanted to try somewhere new after having some issues. We love it here! We have stayed in room #3 and #5, both are nice. There isn't really anywhere to get breakfast in town unless you go to dollar general or Walmart in Savanah so having a breakfast provided with muffins and coffee is great. There is also breakfast bars and frozen breakfast options. There are tables outside where you can sit or a dinning table that fits six. We enjoyed the quiet, relaxing atmosphere provided by the hosts John and Sharon. They seemed like old friends immediately. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. John and Sharon Dumont, are welcoming and hospitable proprietors who work to make one's stay absolutely perfect. The Commodore Inn is architecturally exquisite; the exterior and interior rooms of the 1840"s building have been beautifully restored with wood floors, tall windows and ceilings, period furniture and antique, clawfoot bathtubs.
