I stayed at One Lakeside for one night in November 2023. I was originally going to stay at the CDA Resort, but their rooms were $100 more and only 1/3 of the size. I’m SO glad I booked with One Lakeside instead. I stayed in a 1 bedroom suite, and it was the size of a full-blown apartment. The unit had a full kitchen, living room, bathroom, bed room, and laundry closet. The unit was nearly brand new, highly modernized, and spotlessly clean. Beyond that, the unit had a balcony with a beautiful view of Lake CDA. The staff were extremely friendly and the check in process was a breeze. Parking garage parking, hot tub access, and rooftop patio access were included with the stay. I was also impressed by the little details. The fridge had a brita water filter. They had locally-sourced, ground coffee for the coffee maker (delicious by the way). The complementary soaps/shampoo in the bathroom were also very high quality. I only stayed one night for a business trip, but I’m eager to return with my wife for a weekend vacation. It was a 10/10 stay and somehow their prices are incredibly affordable. Highly recommend.

One Lakeside is great! We couldn't decide between the resort and the One Lakeside, but we ended up at OL because the resort didn't have the type of room we wanted. We were so happy that we stayed where we did. We rented a one bedroom condo with a lake view. The rooms are modern, spotlessly clean, and well equipped with everything you need for your stay. The rooftop hot tub was so relaxing every night and having a full kitchen and access to a BBQ was great. We brought our two dogs and it was so handy to be on the 4th floor where the dog run is. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location can't be beat, it's downtown across from the lake and walking distance to stores and restaurants.

This is a really nice place and our 3 bedroom had an amazing view. It is pricey and was hoping to have a wonderful stay. When we arrived the condo had a really weird smell to it. Also it did not feel clean. I ended up wiping one of the bathroom floors and the rag turned dark brown with a few wipes. The cleanliness is lacking for such a nice place. The kitchen has the bare minimum for cooking. Also the parking garage is tiny and we had to find a spot on the road for 2 of our 4 nights there. The exercise room is only for residents that live there. The staff was really helpful and nice. Very convienent to walk to the lake. Overall, it was spacious with a great view but didn’t end up loving our stay this time.

If just rating the room and location, I’d give this a 5. Customer service was good too. We opted for the rooftop experience, as we wanted to use the gym. The gym doesn’t open until 7 am which seemed late to us, but being here for pleasure, it was fine. Mid-workout (after 8:00), a resident came in her robe, asking my husband to stop clanging weights, as she lived below. He was simply using the machines—with weights, which clink when returning to position—nothing outrageous. My husband looked at me after she left and said, “And this is why we don’t want to live in a condo.” While we were in town, we were looking at properties, and I had “favorited” several condos, including two condos for sale on this very property. I have since deleted them from potential possibilities. Not because of the noise, but the realization of neighbors struggling with any kind of adjacent wall issues. Plus, on a work day, we’d need the facilities earlier. ||When we went to the rooftop the night before, the views were amazing. We wanted to use the ping pong but could not find paddles or balls, which was a bummer. Beautiful facility, though!||Additionally, parking was very limited. My husband has a truck and there were only a couple viable spots in the tiny lot. We made it work, and got lucky that one of the two viable spots were available when needed. ||The room itself was perfect for our stay, and you can’t beat the location. Overall very good with a few nuisances taking our 5 star review...

If I can give a 0 for customer service I would!!! Couple of days ago I called to acquire information based on a rate that was posted on Google to make reservations at this location and I spoke with a gentleman and couldn’t answer my questions but informed/emailed his GM about my question and I didn’t receive a call until I had to email the GM for an update on reservations. Well the call started out very unprofessional, rude and contradicting. From what the GM told me the rate couldn’t be honored because there was a “glitch” in the system and their rooms rate are $600/night(ummm… no they don’t!). She also stated the rate was on the google website and all of their customers go to their website to book but also mentioned how many of their customers book their rooms through the google website?!? (Ummm… okay and confusing) not once did I argue nor fight for that rate because I already knew I wasn’t going to get anywhere when a GM is disrespecting you with her tone of voice. Once I hung up I forgot to ask for her name so I called back, my call went to the front desk and I asked the young lady for the GM name, she mentioned her name is Brawnlin but then I looked online and the GM is Laura DeMott?!! Well I guess I was taking up too much of her time and then started getting her nasty attitude. WOW!!!! Well let’s just say customer service at this location is...

Arrived to a fire truck outside the building, day 2 fire trucks again elevators not working, day three woke to fire alarm blaring asking us to exit the building, remained outside in the rain for 30 min, spoke to management no answer for this inconvenience or even an apology. All we got was a clerk at the desk rolling her eyes and making excuses. she challenged me directly each time i pointed out the issues and made excuse. When someone complains about the service usually you start out with an apology. Sometimes you offer to take care of the issues. We are not the type of folks that expects anything for our inconveniences, however it is nice as a gesture that they care for their customers. Find Some where else to stay as this place is no good solely because of its leadership. The cleaning team does an amazing job and they are very friendly, the one gentleman at the front desk was also amazing! I am giving a 2 star because no one has posted a 2 star but would not give any stars to these leaders! Don't waste your time with this place, senior leaders could care less about your stay, as reflected in all the horrible reviews! |~ Cowboy ||I have a call into management, i'm sure they won't call me back! So the review will stick, and i will vote with my dollars on my next stay, i won't be staying here, I will stay at CDA resort where they...
