My issues started with booking. I ended up adding 2 additional rooms for family traveling with me. I was told I would get the same rate for these rooms as my original reservation. When I received confirmation they were higher rates. I call back and Josh tried to tell me because of tax it was higher which made no sense because the amount on my original reservation confirmation includes taxes. He said he would fix and I was on the phone waiting for over an hour. Then he said he would leave a note for the manager and call me back tomorrow morning. I didn't receive a call the next morning and ended up calling back around 4 or 5pm. I got the manager, I explained the issues with the rates and that I was supposed to get a call back. She said Josh didn't give a last name on the note so she couldn't look anything up because the system goes by last name only. Okay whatever so I'm on hold for 30 minutes for her to fix the rates of the other 2 rooms. I think all is well as she sent me confirmations of the reservations with the revised rates. Get to the hotel it takes 45 minutes to check in because the lady was having a hard time finding the reservations. Finally get checked in and keys to the rooms. 2 of the rooms had visible food stains on the sheets. I go back to the check-in counter and ask for all 3 room's sheets to be changed. Staff was nice and quickly went up and changed the sheets. Also my room had a funny smell. The toilet seat kept sliding off as it was not properly fastened. The microwave was not cleaned out. It still had food crumbs in it. In one of the other rooms the towel bar was loose. The screws were coming out the wall. During our stay housekeeping came by to collect trash and offer clean towels but didn't fix the beds or collect dirty towels. Breakfast was to-go which was explained to me at booking due to COVID-19. By the way none of the staff or hotel guests are wearing maks. None of the common areas were cleaned and sanitized frequently as mentioned on the website... Back to breakfast. We were given sheets to fill out and take down but wasn't told that they were keeping the sheets on file to give you the same items everyday unless you wanted something different then you were to fill out a new sheet. Didn't know this so we filled out new sheets everyday. Not a big deal. On the first day they had ran out of a lot of items like Bananas, yogurt, Oatmeal and OJ. When I picked up my items for 2 of our rooms they didn't tell us they were out of those items and when I got to the room I thought they forgot them so I went all the way back downstairs to get them. That's when the lady told me they were out of those items so I then asked her for substitutions. I feel like she should've offered substitutions when I was down there waiting for her to pack the items and she saw they didn't have certain things. I could also tell that she was irritated with me. The next day there was a different woman and she was nice and got everything right on the order sheet. However, I let the front desk know the water container was empty and he let the lady that was packing the breakfast know (I think they are brother and sister). She was busy packing the breakfast for other guests so I don't know why he didn't take a second to fill up the water. I ended up waiting for like 15-20 minutes for water. They really should have more than one person packing up the breakfast but I think they were short staffed because I saw them conduct a few interviews during my stay. But anyways 3rd day we're checking out and it literally took over 2 hours to do so. We checked out the 2 of the rooms fine but the 3rd was double the rate quoted on the reservation confirmation. It took awhile to fix because it was only the general manager's 3rd day and she was unfamiliar with the systems. When we left to drive home we hit so much traffic that we've would've avoided had we've been able to check out on time. Overall the rates they originally charge for this hotel is not worth it. Most of the staff are really nice people but need to work on their...
Read moreAVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!! We stayed here for 3 nights in July 2025 and by far the single worst stay ever. I should have read the negative reviews first before booking this property.
Firstly, all the reviews about how dated and broken this property is are all true! We got in on day one and noticed the bathtub would drain and theres no option but to wade in the mucky water and wait an hour while it slowly drained. Clearly the management was aware of it from previous complaints and reviews and does nothing about it.
Day 2 the a/c dies, and this is the middle of summer. They cant fix it until the next day, and there goes one sleepless night with little kids. They replace the ac the next day but leave all the first and filth from the old A/c all over the floor. We had to ask for towels to cover the areas since they cant get someone to clean it.
The front desk staff are extremely polite but seem to be equally frustrated and seem to think the management or leadership doesn’t care.
Lastly , we skipped the breakfast buffet after the first day. The apples seemed diseased. The bread stale. It seems like they picked up the food from a food bank.
. They charge you a two star hotel rate when this property is worse than the cheapest motels.
This is outright cheating. This management team is atrociously stingy and is looting customers and should be fired.
EDIT as of 8/5 - In response to the "Management"' response:
Mgmt response "Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We want to assure you that our staff worked diligently to address each concern during your stay. When the air conditioning stopped working, maintenance replaced the unit the very next day, and our front desk team provided additional towels while housekeeping was available to assist with cleanup." The A/C was replaced the next day, you made me and my family sleepless all night, LEFT behind a mess of nasty muck all over the floor, FOR which I requested towels since you had no housekeeping to follow up and clean the room OR clean the room when I asked you to? LIES! Housekeeping was not available to assist with cleanup.
Mgmt response "We also strive to keep breakfast options stocked and refreshed each morning, and many of our guests enjoy the variety offered." Many of our guests enjoy the variety offered? NONSENSE - We were a party of 4 families and NONE of us had a positive experience. Most of us skipped breakfast the next day. More deflection! The point here is about QUALITY not variety ( There was no expectation of a huge assortment for this price point)
Mgmt response "Our front desk staff take pride in being attentive and courteous, and it’s good to know that you found them polite and willing to help throughout your visit." Are the Staff courteous? - Absolutely! The higher ups or property owners who seem to be fleecing customers with rates that are reflective of 2-3 star hotels But the actual property is not worth a low grade motel. Make the most $ off this property while it still stands might be the motive.
Mgmt Response" While our property does reflect its age in some areas, our focus remains on providing attentive service, resolving issues quickly, and ensuring our guests have a comfortable experience. Feedback like yours helps us continue to improve and refine our efforts. I've had the misfortune of reading reviews of your property AFTER I was done with the stay as I couldn't believe how bad this experience was. NO your guests did not have a comfortable experience, and by your previous reviews and responses it seems nothing has changed except the platitudes you provide.
Not once has someone from your management team reached out since this experience and our frustration was reported to your staff. When you cant provide the service and comfort at a bare minimum expected, you should refund your customer proactively, not make them keep following up with...
Read moreWhere to begin...the front desk guy who took forever to check in the guest at the counter when my kids and I came in was more than happy to talk very loudly about the gun he carries and the guest bringing in his gun into the hotel, "I don't care which door you bring in your guns" 😬 Then to check out the pool and hot tub after waiting about 30 minutes to check in due to front desk dude being too chaty and slow to the next guests in line to check in. After taking a phone call for a multi-room reservation with two people in front of him waiting to check in. Ummm....absolutely the nastiest pool and hot tub I've ever seen. The pool water looked like jello and the hot tub equally as gross with the major chips in the cement and "paint job" with missing tiles to boot. Not to mention the size, wow, maybe at best 4 adults sitting super close to one other with their feet touching at best. The icing, the dead skin floating on top of the water because the jets were off and the water was stagnant. It takes myself and my kids alot to say on vacation, "yeah, no that looks disgusting I'm not going to swim in that 😐 ". Then we get to the room and my kids are coughing and sneezing. Maybe it was from the black mold in the windows? Or the layer of dust on the lamp base or the microwave with the hair attached to it? There's a bullet hole looking crack in the glass door to one of the floor entrances that was pretty unsettling and 2 out of the 3 fire extinguisher I saw had no glass covering and the metal frame was warped and rusted. So they've been like that for awhile, that was obvious. The elevator is a hole in the wall which was extremely small and moved so slow it was unsettling, so we used the stairs the entire time. So to back up, I had 2 towels in my room for a 3 day stay. I asked the front desk guy for more on the first day and holy moly, you would thought I was asking him to climb Everest. One towel was super stained with yellowish brownish spots and should have been caught by housekeeping no question. Night of day two, ask for more towels and it's met with suspicion like I'm stealing towels. The man I asked in the hallway showed up and gives me the three I asked for and then demands the towels I have in my room to "keep them going" and takes our dirty towels with his bare hands. The kiosk to buy goodies had the chips in a box on the counter and same with the frozen treats in the freezer. I would never recommend this "hotel" to anyone and whoever manages it should be fired immediately. For a Ramada this has to be the worst one out there. What a disappointment to take myself and my kids on vacation to this less than subpar hotel which rates and website reflect that it is an actual decent hotel. So gross, and with all the decent hotels in the area booked for the holiday weekend, we weren't able to stay at a clean hotel with a sanitary pool/hot tub. I will definitely be posting this review elsewhere so no one else wastes their hard earned money with...
